Sahalie and Koosah water Falls In Oregon
We went on a little hike along the Mckenzie river to check out two water falls! The Sahalie and the Koosah!
Sahalie Falls
Whether you’re from out of state and want to experience the real Oregon or you’re from the area but are looking to impress your out-of-town friends, you don’t need to travel far. Less than an hour and a half from Marathon World Headquarters in Coburg, Ore. is a place of great awe. Sahalie and Koosah Falls stand majestically at 100-feet and 70-feet tall respectively. Both fed from the crystal clear McKenzie River, they are nothing short of stunning. It’s a good place to take your coach for a day trip or drive your tow car while your Marathon is being serviced. Whatever you do, don’t forget your camera.
The waterfall loop hike begins at the 100-foot-tall Sahalie Falls, through Douglas fir and red cedar laden terrain to Koosah Falls a half mile or so later. However, for better views, continue your hike, keeping right after the latter fall. In less than a half mile you should see a gravel road alongside Carmen Reservoir. Follow this road until you see a trail sign in 150 yards or so. Take this path into the woods and turn right onto the McKenzie River Trail. This will lead you to plenty of gorgeous photo opportunities including better views of both Sahalie and Koosah Falls. After a mile or so, you’ll cross the river on a footbridge, another excellent place to take snapshots. Then turn right and you’ll have less than a half mile to your car.

Koosah Falls
Spent sometime up the McKenzie yesterday, and captured this video at Koosah Falls before heading up the road to get some footage at Sahalie Falls and Belknap hot springs. Be on the lookout for those videos in the coming week. What an amazing day to fly dodged some rain and some 95 degree weather, gotta love Oregon. So Many Waterfalls & Last Night in Bend
In today's video, we take McKenzie Pass Highway through a bunch of lava rock to go and see some waterfall not far from the Sisters. The first waterfall hike was Proxy Falls, which is our absolute favorite falls hike we've ever seen. The Lower Falls was AMAZING! We highly recommend it! We then stop and see Sahalie Falls which was roaring and took the quick walk down to Koosah Falls as well. We love waterfalls! Lastly, we share our last night in Bend before we head West towards the Coast.

Koosah and Sahalie Falls Hike with music 2
My first video project...took a few short videos from my waterfall hike last week on the McKenzie River...and put them together! My videography skills could improve, but it's not too bad. Pardon my typo I noticed only after upload...Oh well! Music of Yiruma - Kiss the Rain
Bend and Sisters, OR and Tumalo Falls!
Hello travelers :) Come explore Bend and Sisters with us!!! We spent the weekend there, by random, we fell in love with the town. I did most of the driving (we pick who the DDD is and it was me, hi) so I didn’t record most of the town… and because it got dark (sad face, I know). Before heading back home, we stopped at Tumalo Falls! I was raining and cold out, so we did not hike up to the top of the falls, but we will be back ???? Sisters was a cute Old Western town, we got delicious lattes and stickers for my scrapbook. It rained all the way home…which is fine because I had meal prepping to do anyways.

Another gorgeous region of Oregon state, definitely worth to take the time and hike to those two. Total walking time will be probably around one hour, possibly a bit more depending on your walking speeds.
