Join us on our two mile hike from the parking lot to the dry waterfall at the upper reaches of Mosaic Canyon. Follow the deep canyon carved by grit-laden flash floods that polished the marble canyon walls. This sequence was shot with a Canon HFS-100 and edited in Adobe Premier CS5.

I guess this is why they call it Death Valley?
a windstorm at Mesquite Dunes, just east of Stovepipe Wells, in Death Valley National Park, CA.
temperature was about 110 F. i don't know how strong the winds were, but it was difficult to stand in place. and yes this basically ruined my camera, but it was worth it haha (sand all in the lens mechanics...which has since settled somewhere & the camera mostly works again!)
quite possibly the most surreal thing i've ever experienced. it was like standing on another planet!!
Touring Death Valley, Calico Ghost Town and Stovepipe Wells Village
This is the forth video of our California trip videos exploring Calico Ghost Town and Death Valley when we stayed in Stovepipe Wells Village. Calico is an old West Mining Town in San Bernardino that was abandoned around 1895 and became a Ghost Town. It is now being restored and if you get there early in the morning (before the crowds) you can really feel you have gone back in time.

RV in Death Valley: Nearly the Death of Us
Our expectations to spend one night at Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley were met with an unbelievably powerful and massive sandstorm. We may not have made it to the sand dunes for sunset as planned, but they sure did come to us!

Overnight camping in Death Valley National Park
This was the final stop on our southwest park tour. It was honestly my favorite part of the trip. The stars alone was worth the 7 hour journey to get to the park. We camped at the wildrose campground. Its well off the main drag and there were only 4 other people camped out with us. Definitely a must visit park! If you enjoyed the video give it a thumbs up and subscribe for more adventures!
