FNB Stadium was first build in 1986 and officially been open on 1989.
This stadium changed his name from FNB stadium to Soccer City just before the kick-off of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. FIFA do not allow stadiums to be referred to as sponsored names were the reason for this change.
The FNB stadium is Africa’s biggest stadium and the 5th largest stadium in the world.
