Alphonso Mangoes from Valsad Street Sellers at Highway in Gujarat India
Summer is a season of Mango in India. We get Alphonso mangoes from Valsad city as it is famous for mango trees. We were on road trip to Mumbai and we happened to see these street sellers of yummy mangoes when we passed by Valsad in Gujarat. These mangoes look beautiful and delicious in taste. They are sold cheaper than market as they come here to sell direct from farmers.

Trip to Uttan Light House, Gorai.
My first ever visit to a light house. The view from the light house was amazing, though we weren't allowed to enter the light house because we reached there after the visiting hours. We still enjoyed the ride to this beautiful place.. You can have a glimpse of the same in this video.
Transportation, route and Google location mentioned below:
The route we chose:
We prefer traveling on bikes, it is economical and you save a lot of time avoiding traffic in Mumbai.
On bike to Versova Jetty.
Versova Jetty to Mudh island via ferry:
(First time we went there we were pretty excited about the ferry ride, but then we came to know we just have to cross the creek, which won't even take 5 minutes)
You can take your bike along with you in the ferry. The captain of the ferry and his associates will help you to get your bike on the ferry.
Mudh Jetty to Marve Beach:
After getting down at Mudh, again continue on bike towards Marve Beach which is about 8.5 kms. The first 1.5 kms is a bit rough, but you will enjoy the ride after that.
Marve beach is like Juhu Beach of Malad (only 1% of Juhu Beach if compared in size)
At Marve Beach you will literally have to drag your bike from the sand to seashore. You probably might have to wait for 10 - 15 minutes for your ferry. Meanwhile waiting for your ferry you can enjoy some famous beach side delicious snacks and you can also enjoy the stunts performed by the gang of boys.
Marve Beach to Manori Jetty via ferry:
Now, when your ferry has arrived, you will have to ride your bike through the sand to the ferry. At Marve Beach no one will help you to get your bike on the ferry. You can ask for help from the local people there if you are stuck. We were lucky there was a group of fishermen kids who were playing at the beach, they helped us when we were stuck.
Again we were disappointed by the 5 minute ferry ride, but this time you can enjoy the ride if the captain allows you to go on the deck.
Manori Jetty to Uttan Light House:
Once you get down at Manori Jetty, get ready for a beautiful ride to the Light House, it feels like you are in Goa while passing through the villages on these islands. The roads are narrow, but you never get stuck in jam. For landmark you can ask the locals for Gorai Beach, the light house is about 6 kms from Gorai Beach and Gorai Beach is the only famous landmark which I think everyone must be aware of.
Gorai beach is one of the cleanest beaches in Mumbai. Once you are done with enjoying the Gorai Beach you can continue on the route to Light House. Now you have to take Uttan Road towards Mira Bhayandar exit. You will enjoy the Goa feeling here as well. Just continue on the Uttan road until you see Gori Uttam Police Chowki. Take left from there. The chowki is on the road, you won't miss the chowki unless you are blind.
2 kms ahead of the Police chowki, you will have to take a left. The landmark is Bassein Catholic Cooperative Bank in Uttan Village. After taking this left turn just continue on the same route for another 1 kms until you see the Light House.
Timing for visiting Light House:
4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
It is open throughout the week. They want to promote Light House Tourism as they said.
Charges:
Entry Fee is Rs. 10/-
Camera Fee is Rs. 20/-

Visit to Bhudargad
Bhudargad is a tehsil in Radhanagari subdivision of Kolhapur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Bhudargad fort is located about 63 km south of Kolhapur. This has a characteristic mountain cap and easily accessible by road. The remnants here are still quite intact.
This fort was built by Shilahar king Bhoj II. Then being with Adhilshah for many years, it was captured by Marathas in 1667. Shivaji Maharaj renovated the fort and made it an important army post. However, it was recaptured by Adilshah and then again by Marathas in 1672. Rajaram Maharaj had stayed on the fort while returning from Gingee.
This fort was in very bad condition but now it is been started to rebuild and restore as it was before in its time.
