Bijeljina is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the Republika Srpska entity and is the provincial center of Semberija, a geographic region in the country's northeast. As of 2013, it has a population of 107,715 inhabitants.

1. Tavna Monastery Bijeljina
The Tavna Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery located south of the city of Bijeljina in north-eastern Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The date of its foundation is unknown. The chronicles of monasteries Tronoša and Peć say it was built by King Stefan Dragutin's sons Vladislav and Urošica. The present monastery church is built in the same place as the original one. Tavna was damaged in the first years of Ottoman rule, but was restored by the people. This was not the only time the monastery was damaged. It was damaged many times during the Ottoman period and also during World War II. Between 1941-45 Tavna was bombed by the Nazi-affiliated Croat Ustashe but was reconstructed after the war.

Srebrenik Fortress is a fortress located near the town of Srebrenik in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Srebrenik Fortress is Bosnia's best-preserved medieval castle, dating from 1333. It is located in the outskirts of Srebrenik. The castle was occupied by the Ban of Bosnia Stephen II Kotromanić until his death in 1353. It was once considerably larger but some of its walls and structure have since collapsed. Also it is known for a document called Povelja of Stjepan II Kotromanić in which Stjepan gifts islands around island of Labin to Republic of Dubrovnik which is controversial by many residents in Srebrenik. I recently had the pleasure to visit Montenegro part of the former Yugoslavia - my favourite place I visited while there was Kotor a small medieval town on the coast of Montenegro not far from the Croatian border. This is how I spent 24 hours there.

At km 3 from Bijeljina towards the Pavlovic Bridge, in the heart of the Semberija lowlands, the Stanisic family have built their Stanisic Ethno Village on 5 ha of ground.

The Stanisic Ethno Village is a village of some 20 authentic wooden houses, including a milk house, a smithy, an ambar (a wooden structure for storing grain), old houses and a large guesthouse, all of them brought there from villages of Vares Municipality and villages of Mount Zvijezda and Mount Romanija.
