NETHERLANDS six castles in Gelderland (hd-video)
There are many castles in the Netherlands. In the province of Gelderland you will find nearly two hundred castles or caste-like estates.
I have visited six of them on one day (all near my hometown).
You can walk around most of the castles and some you can visit.
The first three (doorwerth, rosendael and vorden) are open to the public. The other ones (Hackfort, Ampsen and Wildenborch are private).
NETHERLANDS Drents-Friese Wold national park (hd-video)

Ootmarsum Twente The Netherlands
Around 770 was one of the first churches in Ootmarsum in Twente built. In november died 917 Radboud, Bishop of Utrecht, in Ootmarsum. Ootmarsum was around the year 1000 one of the largest parishes in Twente, the originally stretched westward to Almelo.
In the middle ages the trade flourished in Ootmarsum, due to its convenient location; both to an important North-South route as on the route Netherlands-North West-Germany. Granted city rights around 1300 were to Ootmarsum. Subsequently, Ootmarsum, with the construction of a double row of canals and earthen walls, a fortified town. In the framework of the eighty years ' war established Spaniards in Ootmarsum. They were in 1597 by armies of Prince Maurits Ootmarsum, after which the fortress was dismantled. A bullet in the Church still reminds of this siege.
South of the town of lay a commandery of the Teutonic order. The Manor House was later Home Ootmarsum. Both city as House are immortalized by Jacob van Ruisdael (circa 1628-1682).
The rise of the industry went to Ootmarsum in Twente past; It remained an agriculture town. This was the development of Ootmarsum, which in the second half of the 20th century had a beneficial effect on the tourist industry: the heart does revive old times

Adrenaline rush in Holland - The Netherlands from above
Where does the need for adrenaline come from, and how do we cope with it when it is needed? With rainfall, thunderstorms or extreme drought, nature is unloading. Human discharges translate some of the ultimate kicks into parachute jumping, skydiving or kite surfing. Others are looking for extravagance. For those who like eccentricity, the Fantasy Fair is something to look forward to and to prepare for a whole year. The need for adrenaline kicks sometimes also has a downside. More and more young people are being treated in clinics because of game addiction.
The Netherlands from above shows us a country from a spectacular perspective. From the sky it is possible to see how the Netherlands changes through the seasons, and how in parallel they form the determining moments of our own life cycle. Through data visuals, impressive aerial images and portraits of people on the ground, the second series of the Netherlands from above outlines an image of how time has changed our country and how we move in it. The way we live from day to day, and from generation to generation in this country reflects our resilient mentality. The Netherlands from above season 2 tells us the story of seeing and taking opportunities, falling and rising up again, reinventing the wheel again and again. Where the first series was an ode to the makeable Netherlands, this second series is an ode to our resilience.
