Dieren is a town in the eastern Netherlands. It is located in Rheden, Gelderland, between Zutphen and Arnhem, on the bank of the IJssel. Dieren was a separate municipality until 1818, when it became a part of Rheden.A steam railway connect Dieren and Apeldoorn via Beekbergen, operated by the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij. The Gazelle bicycle factory is located in Dieren.

Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe is a Dutch national park in the province of Gelderland near the cities of Ede, Wageningen, Arnhem and Apeldoorn. It is approximately 55 square kilometers in area, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands. It is situated in the Veluwe, the area of the largest terminal moraine in the Netherlands. Most of the landscape of the park and the Veluwe was created during the last Ice Age. The alternating sand dune areas and heathlands may have been caused by human utilization of the surrounding lands. The park forms one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands.

1. Vaticaanstad

2. Colosseum

3. Pantheon
Een van de oudste overblijfselen uit de Romeinse tijd. Een indrukwekkend gebouw met grote zuilen en open koepel.

4. Trevifontein
Dit is zonder twijfel de bekendste fontein van Italië.

5. Galleria Borghese
Villa Borghese is een heerlijk park in hartje Rome. Hier kan je wandelen, fietsen of een bootje huren. Daarnaast heeft het park ook een aantal musea zoals Galleria Borghese, het nationaal museum van de stad.

6. Santa Maria Maggiore
De Santa Maria Maggiore is een van de vier pauselijke basilieken. De basiliek werd ooit gebouwd ter ere van de Heilge Maagd Maria. Hier zijn de oudste mozaïeken van Rome terug te vinden.

7. Sixtijnse Kapel
De Sixtijnse Kapel is terug te vinden in Vaticaanstad. Het plafond van de kapel is zonder twijfel het bekendste van het hele gebouw. Hier staat De Schepping die door Michelangelo geschilderd is.
