Cappoquin, also spelt Cappaquin or Capaquin , is a town in west County Waterford, Ireland. It is on the Blackwater river at the junction of the N72 national secondary road and the R669 regional road. It is positioned on a sharp 90-degree bend in the river and nestles at the foot of the Knockmealdown Mountains. It is the birthplace of the poet Thomas McCarthy. Furthermore, renowned Irish author James Joyce mentions Mount Melleray in the final short story of his 1914 collection, Dubliners. Random shots are taken in Ireland, especially the surroundings of the capital city Dublin, and are put together with no particular order.
The video starts with Malahide Estuary Swans Lake, a scenic destination very close to Swords Town, then straight goes to the Dublin city center, gets some nice visuals of people activities, the Millennium Spire, Luas tram train services, Dublin bus, the River Liffey, and the Samuel Beckett Bridge, while capturing some more.
Then we go to Cappoquin, a beautiful town at County Waterford. The St Patrick's Day Celebrations at Cappoquin is featured, with parades, tableau, and merriment. The video takes us to some suburban areas, starting with Swords, goes to Lismore, Melleray areas, Ardmore beach in Waterford. While capturing the pristine Mount Melleray abbey, a herd of sheep is captured along with a shepherd. Waterford's Crystal palace has also been given a place. The video ends with Ireland centenary celebration held in remembrance of 1916 rising, the 100 hundred year old Ireland's freedom, RTE (Reflecting the Rising).
