Vizita la CINQUE TERRE in Italia – parc national & Patrimoniu Mondial UNESCO.
In Cinque Terre am stat 2 nopti, in 2 camere diferite in Vernazza. In prima zi am vizitat 2 sate de la sud de Vernazza (Riomaggiore, Manarola). In a doua zi, am vizitat Corniglia si Monterosso al Mare. Cararile erau inchise in extrasezon.

Places to see in ( Milan - Italy ) Chiesa di San Babila
Places to see in ( Milan - Italy ) Chiesa di San Babila
San Babila is a Roman Catholic church in Milan, northern Italy. It was once considered the third most important in the city after the Duomo and the Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio. It is dedicated to saint Babylas of Antioch.
At the beginning of the 5th century, Marolus, the bishop of Milan, brought from Antioch to Milan relics of saints Babylas of Antioch and Romanus of Caesarea. Marolus founded the Basilica Concilia Sanctorum or church of San Romano, which stood until the 19th century, a few meters south of the church of San Babila, on the site of a Roman temple dedicated to the Sun.
The church of San Babila was built on the same site in about 1095. In the 16th century, the church was extended with an additional construction at the front and a new baroque façade. The church still retains its original medieval fabric, although much was lost due to baroque and modern renovations.
The whole complex was renovated in the 19th century with the intent of restoring the appearance of the medieval basilica, and in the early 20th century the Neo-Romanesque façade by Paolo Cesa-Bianchi was built. The bell tower is from 1920, and replaced the original tower which fell down in the 16th century.
The interior has a nave and two aisles. There are two side chapels that date from the late Renaissance. The right aisle has an image of the Madonna which is highly venerated by the Milanese population.

Tour of The Colosseum (Anfiteatro Flavio), Rome, Italy
The Colosseum, or the Coliseum, originally the Flavian Amphitheatre (Anfiteatro Flavio or Colosseo), is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire.
It is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering. Occupying a site just east of the Roman Forum, its construction started in 72 AD under the emperor Vespasian and was completed in 80 AD under Titus, with further modifications being made during Domitian's reign (81--96).
The name Amphitheatrum Flavium derives from both Vespasian's and Titus's family name (Flavius, from the gens Flavia).
Capable of seating 50,000 spectators, the Colosseum was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology.
The building ceased to be used for entertainment in the early medieval era. It was later reused for such purposes as housing, workshops, quarters for a religious order, a fortress, a quarry, and a Christian shrine.
Although in the 21st century it stays partially ruined because of damage caused by devastating earthquakes and stone-robbers, the Colosseum is an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome. It is one of Rome's most popular tourist attractions and still has close connections with the Roman Catholic Church, as each Good Friday the Pope leads a torchlit Way of the Cross procession that starts in the area around the Colosseum.

Crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a Cessna
Trying to find a way to Austria, I catch a ride in a Cessna 210 for a two week trip across the North Atlantic. We fly to remote northern Canada to prepare to cross to Greenland and encounter icing, autopilot issues, plumbing problems, magnetic deviation, and find ourselves north of the Wall. Part 2:
