We analyzed cities in Rhode Island with a population of more than 5,000 using the latest FBI crime data.
Here are the 10 Safest CITIES in RHODE ISLAND for 2019:
1. Glocester
2. Scituate
3. Richmond
4. South Kingstown

6. Bristol
7. West Greenwich
8. Portsmouth
9. East Greenwich
10. Barrington
Our goal is to combine recent data, fun videos, and thoughts about local culture into bite-sized snacks of shareable information. We call it bite-sized regional infotainment. We try to paint a picture of what’s happening in a region based on “Friday Night Science” — how’d you argue at a bar. To do that, we gather data from around the web to help determine a wide array of factors about where you live, things like safety, desirability, and culture.

MX691 Motocross and ATV Track and Trails Tiverton RI 2017 07 08 N4
So far the best place to ride in New England. Just some common sense rules to sign and a donation you can afford and you're good to ride with some nice people in a great area. It is in Tiverton RI at 671 Brayton Rd. Plus next month they're going to have a Hare Scramble. Who wouldn't love that!
this is their facebook page
First the good, My son and nephew, who is just as much my boy too went for our first ride in Tiverton RI, at the MX691 Motocross and ATV Track and Trails. The place is a haven in an area where it is difficult to find a place to ride. Raymond who runs the place is the nicest guy and I even woke Zach out of a slumber to get information from him too. I go there and I was very happy that they're running on donations, so $10 for kids and $15 to $20 for adults (what you can afford) is a really fair price to ride.
There was a lot of rain the past three days before we rode, but overall only 3 or four puddles on the mini bike track (saw some 250s riding it, so it isn't that mini, just for those of us that aren't fliers). The big one day supercross track was in good shape, some water ruts, but still fun.
I ran around through the woods, not knowing where I was going and still had a good time. They are challenging and fun.
Raymond opens the place up from 11 am till 5 pm most days and some days later. It's at the back of natural materials recycling area, which is a perfect mesh for riders. I can't wait to go again, maybe without the kiddos. They enjoyed, but were kinda whiny about my wrong turn in the woods. I blame that on Craig and Tim.
Now the bad, RI collects hundreds of thousands of dollars from sales tax of dirt bike, atv, orv, and other off-road vehicle sales, but provides no place to ride. The RI Law best I can tell have laws on the books to register orvs and then allow them places to ride, but there is nothing happening. So, if you are an RI rider get out to MX691, make a donation, ride and help get this place into top shape so many riders can come and enjoy it.
Forgive me for my riding and the camera work, both of us were rusty and the adhesive took a beating in the heat. They just wouldn't hold up. Also if you crash my facebook photos, you can see about 650 stills as I had the camera on the wrong mode half the time.
This is my nephew's footage after not riding for a long time and he did very well. It won't be too long before he's schooling me too. The camera started to lean to the right, but you can make out the terrain and see how nice this place is going to be soon and get an idea of the conditions and hills in his first few passes.
The 3M Dual lock just doesn't hold 10 pounds of pressure like they say. This camera had regular hook and loop fastener and it did much better, but still some lean.
Noah had the best runs and the cleanest video angle. Great job boy!

This is my footage for a short time. The camera is high and to the right, but you can make out the terrain and see how nice this place is going to be soon.

Dad chasing boy on dirt bikes MX691 Motocross and ATV Track and Trails Tiverton RI 2017 07 14 P1
Had a lot of fun chasing boy on our dirt bikes He's gotten much faster in two rides. I'm on a TTR125 and he is riding a KX65. Just his second time riding the bike, using a clutch, and the place and he shaved 20 seconds off his race lap time. I couldn't pass him on the second lap.
MX691 is a nice place to ride in Tiverton RI. Follow some common sense rules and make a donation you can afford and you're good to ride with some nice people in a great area. The address is 691 Brayton Rd. It has a mini track (this one) and a bigger track plus woods for a Hare Scramble. Who wouldn't love that?

The place is a haven in an area where it is difficult to find a place to ride. Raymond who runs the place is the nicest guy, send him a text before you go. Also, the state of RI collects hundreds of thousands of dollars from sales tax of dirt bike, atv, and other off-road vehicles sales, but provides no place to ride. The RI Law best I can tell, has laws on the books to register orvs and would allow the state to create places to ride, but there is nothing happening. So, if you are an RI rider get out to MX691, make a donation, ride and help get this place into top shape so many riders can enjoy it.
Also if you check out my facebook photos, you can see about 650 stills of the wooded trails.
I use a Sony FDRX1000V, which is great for video, but The 3M dual lock just doesn't hold it well to the helmet. It is a bummer, because the tape should work for this type of use, but it doesn't cut it.
