*Qué hacer en Veracruz:
-Da una vuelta por el Puerto de Veracruz y déjate sorprender por la Isla de los Sacrificios, visita el fuerte de San Juan de Ulúa que ahora es un museo y recorre el Centro de Veracruz por la tarde-noche, seguro encontrarás alguna actividad cultural interesante y entretenida que ver.
-Visita Catemaco que está a 3 horas en carro del Puerto de Veracruz.
*Qué hacer en Catemaco:
-Toma un tour por la laguna, es lo mejor que puedes hacer. Te sorprenderás con los paisajes y con las historias que el Capitán Juan te irá contacto en el camino. Visitarás la Isla de los MonosTe dejamos la página del tour por si deseas contratarlo.
*Hazte una limpia de malas energías con un chamán, asegúrate que no sea un charlatán.
-Dónde hospedarte en Catemaco:
La Cabaña del Lago es una de las mejores opciones para hospedarte cuando visites Catemaco, la vista que tiene es increíble. Es un lugar bastante sencillo y modesto pero tu estancia será muy placentera. Aquí está su página de Facebook

-Date una vuelta por su Plaza Principal y visita la Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
-Cascadas el Salto de Eyipantla:
A tan sólo unos 30 minutos de Catemaco encontrarás estas grandiosas cascadas que te van a sorprender por su grandeza. El costo de la entrada es de $10 por persona, puedes accesar por unas escaleras o solamente observarlas desde el mirador. Aquí te dejamos la página de Facebook del lugar:

EXPLORE MEXICO: Waterfalls/Monkeys/Jungle Hiking in Veracruz
In this episode of Explore Mexico, I am showcasing a one day exploration tour to see waterfalls, monkeys, and to go jungle hiking in the tropical rain forests of southern Veracruz in Mexico. This area is known as the Los Tuxtlas Region.
I shot this video with the permission of 4 young women from Europe who signed up to go on this day trip with us. Just for fun, I called them, Girls in the Jungle!

El Tren Maya, Palenque y Tenosique | Ep 1
La ruta del Tren Maya es un recorrido increíble por el sureste de México, acompáñanos a descubrir qué hacer en las estaciones de Palenque y Tenosique.
Actualmente se puede recorrer toda la ruta del Tren Maya por carretera, no es necesario que nos esperemos a que se haga el tren, ya podemos disfrutar de todas las maravillas del mundo Maya, en ésta serie te vamos a explicar cómo hacerlo y qué hacer o qué ver en cada estación.
-El Tren Maya en Chiapas y Tabasco
Ambos estados solo tendrán 1 estación cada uno, la de Palenque en Chiapas y la de Tenosique en Tabasco. Actualmente ya existe una vía de ferrocarril que une ambas ciudades, la cual está en uso.
Es una vía ferrea que transporta carga, y será de mucha utilidad emplearla pues ahorraría mucho tiempo en el trayecto entre ambas estaciones.
-Qué hacer en Palenque
Visita la Zona Arqueológica de Palenque (Lakam Ha) está a 8 km del centro, aproximadamente a unos 15-20 minutos en auto, también hay combis o taxis que puedes tomar en el centro. Recuerda llegar temprano para evitar que haya mucha gente y también que no te toque tanto calor. El costo de la entrada es de $75 pesos por persona y te incluye la entrada al Museo de Sitio que te sugerimos visitar pues ahí se encuentran las piezas rescatadas de las ruinas de Lakam Ha.
Refréscate en las cascadas en los alrededores de Palenque, las más visitadas son las Cascadas de Agua Azul, Misol Ha y las de Roberto Barrios, las 3 quedan a poco menos de 1 hora del centro de la ciudad.
Conoce Yaxchilán y Bonampak, te sugerimos contratar un Tour para que vayas en grupo a conocer ambos yacimientos mayas, indispensables para entender la antigua cultura maya, cuáles eran sus costumbres, por qué peleaban entre sus naciones y teorías del por qué abandonaron las ciudades que durante siglos habitaron y defendieron. Cabe mencionar que por ésta zona no pasará el Tren Maya, en éste tramo la vía se limita a conectar Palenque con Tenosique, no invadirá la selva Lacandona.
El tour dura un día completo desde las 6 a.m. incluye desayuno y comida, entradas a las zonas y transporte y tiene un costo de $950 pesos por persona. Tanto en Yaxchilán como en Bonampak se paga el servicio de guía ya que ese lo da gente de la localidad y cobran aproximadamente $100 pesos por persona.
-Qué hacer en Tenosique
Visita la zona arqueológica Pomoná, es de acceso gratuito, queda a unos 25 minutos de Tenosique y aún se puede subir a sus edificios.
Si buscas actividades más extremas, visita Tenosique, queda a 1:30 h de Palenque y lo que se practica aquí es el “puenting” que es brincar desde el puente de Boca del Cerro en bungie, también puedes hacer rappel por las paredes del Cañón del Usumacinta y cerrar nadando en el bellísimo balneario natural de Santa Margarita. Si solo deseas un paseo por el Río Usumacinta, toma una lancha que cobra $500 y te lleva hasta el balneario.

-¿Dónde hospedarse? en Palenque o en Tenosique
Esta ocasión escogimos hospedarnos cerca de la Zona Arqueológica de Palenque, en el Hotel La Aldea. Un hotel con todos los servicios para pasarla increíble, cuenta con estacionamiento propio, spa, alberca al aire libre, restaurante, temazcal y las habitaciones además de frescas, son amplias, limpias, con aire acondicionado, cama súper cómoda, agua caliente y algunas con terraza y hamacas.

-Qué esperar del Tren Maya en éste tramo
La estación del Tren Maya en Palenque se ubicará frente a la carretera hacia el aeropuerto internacional de Palenque, así que esta ciudad será un punto importante de entrada/salida del circuito.
La vía deberá mejorarse y ampliarse, ya que según el proyecto hasta el momento publicado el tren debería de poder correr en ambos sentidos.
Tenosique renovará la estación que tiene actualmente y el municipio invertirá en desarrollar los atractivos turísticos cercanos para hacerse atractivo, la oferta hotelera deberá ampliarse ya que por el momento pocos hoteles ofrecen servicio en el municipio en comparación con Palenque.
Sin duda alguna el Tren Maya va a dar mucho de qué hablar durante su desarrollo, confiamos en que su construcción catalice el mejoramiento social de la región norte de Chiapas y sur de Tabasco.

EXPLORE MEXICO: Quick Tour of Catemaco Veracruz
Looking for a really out-of-the-way tropical escape? Then head to the town of Catemaco in southern Veracruz, Mexico.
This video will give you a very quick tour of the town of Catemaco which is located next to a giant peaceful lake. It is the 3rd largest in the entire country. Except for some tour boats and some small fishing boats, Lake Catemaco is just a peaceful huge lake situated in a recognized World Biosphere region.
Not far from Catemaco, you can also explore the southern gulf coast of Veracruz. Pristine beaches, gentle waves, no foreign tourists, and no internet or cell phone service makes this place a Robinson Crusoe kind of paradise.

Mexican State Oaxaca
Oaxaca (English /wəˈhɑːkə/ wə-HAH-kə, Spanish: [waˈxaka] ( listen), from Nahuatl: Huaxyacac /waːsʃakak/), officially Free and Sovereign State of Oaxaca (Spanish: Estado Libre y Soberano de Oaxaca), is one of the 31 states which, along with the Federal District, make up the 32 federative entities of Mexico. It is divided into 571 municipalities; of which 418 (almost three quarters) are governed by the system of Usos y costumbres (customs and traditions)[9] with recognized local forms of self governance. Its capital city is Oaxaca de Juárez.
Oaxaca is located in Southwestern Mexico.[10] It is bordered by the states of Guerrero to the west, Puebla to the northwest, Veracruz to the north, Chiapas to the east. To the south, Oaxaca has a significant coastline on the Pacific Ocean.
The state is best known for its indigenous peoples and cultures. The most numerous and best known are the Zapotecs and the Mixtecs, but there are sixteen that are officially recognized. These cultures have survived better than most others in Mexico due to the state's rugged and isolating terrain. Most live in the Central Valleys region, which is also an important area for tourism, attracting people for its archeological sites such as Monte Albán, native culture and crafts. Another important tourist area is the coast, which has the major resort of Huatulco, and Puerto Escondido, both with their own international airports, and the increasingly popular small beach villages of Zipolite and Mazunte. Oaxaca is also one of the most biologically diverse states in Mexico, ranking in the top three, along with Chiapas and Veracruz, for numbers of reptiles, amphibians, mammals and plants.
