This is BOCAS TOWN. Travel to Bocas Del Toro, Panama.
Before we arrived Bocas Del Toro, Panama, we had a difficult time finding much on YouTube about the town. Therefore we decided to do our own vlog about the town to give other people a better idea of what the town is like!
We started off our day in the centre of town at the main park (Parque Simón Bolívar) in the centre of town. This is also where you pick up buses to get to other parts of the Isla Colon. We then went and got fresh juice from a vendor in town.
After that we went and explored the boutiques in town. There are lots of great small shops and surf shops and is great for shopping.
We then went and got lunch from a great little take away shop called Amaranto. Having to wash it down with something we head to La Buguita to have a drink and take in the great view of the water taxis and waterfront area.
Lastly we take you back to our great Airbnb just outside of town in Saigon Bay. It’s called Koko Resort and is a group fully equipped overwater bungalows. That we’d highly recommend renting when in Bocas Del Toro!

Bocas del Toro, Panama:
Bocas del Toro is a province in Panama with an island chain off the Caribbean coast, and a section of mainland with a very biodiverse rainforest. Isla Colon, the most important island, is home to the capital called Bocas Town. Bocas Town is full of touristic places with many restaurants, shops and very active nightlife. Among the most popular beaches Boca del Dragon is perhaps the most well known. One of the main attractions in Isla Colon is the Starfish Beach, named for the number of sea starts you can find there. Bocas del Toro is the perfect place if you are planning on visiting the archipielago.
Bocas Town:
Boca Town is a touristic town on the southern tip of Colon Island. The corregimento of Bocas del Toro has a land area of 67.3 square kilometres (26.0 sq mi) and had a population of 7,366 as of 2010, giving it a population density of 109.4 inhabitants per square kilometre (283/sq mi). Its population as of 1990 was 5,274; its population as of 2000 was 4,020.
Relatively few Panamanians live on the island, opting for cheaper housing on the mainland. Mainland residents working on Colón Island travel by boat. Bocas del Toro is a popular tourist destination year-round. The town is small enough that most places are within walking distance. The streets are arranged in a grid. Avenidas (avenues) run east to west and calles (streets) run north to south. Bocas del Toro is still relatively unknown as a dive destination. However, it offers a great diversity of aquatic life around its islands.
