Vancouver British Columbia - Claire
A truly beautiful city shines from the inside out. The world has been invited to Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Games, 10,000 journalists are invited, and politicians are falling over themselves for a job well done. I have news for all of them.
The athletes will compete and Vancouver will shine but the most important impression left on visitors will be the one left by Vancouverites.
We met Claire for the first time on a small ferry by Granville Island, she is one of the captains, her friendly demeanor is the kind of welcome all visitors should get so the memories they take home will be of the people of Vancouver, the kind of memories that will have them coming back over and over.
The media is not going to make the 2010 Winter Games a success, it will be the people of Vancouver.

Put simply, Tourism is Victoria’s business. We are an industry making a significant economic impact by supporting businesses and creating jobs in Melbourne and right across Victoria.
Now is the time to capitalise on the success of tourism in Victoria, harness the state’s natural amenities and attractions, and accelerate the next wave of economic growth.
