Olhos de Agua means 'eyes of the water'. At the beach of this town you can see a spring of fresh water. You can drink from this water (before it goes into the sea of course) and you can only see it when the sea is on low tide. These springs look a bit like eyes so that's why this little village is called Olhos de Agua.
Olhos de Água is a former civil parish, located in the municipality of Albufeira, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Albufeira e Olhos de Água.

July 5, 2017 - The ruin of the Castle of Castro Laboreiro, situated above the village, was a steep hike from the road. But the view from above was worth it.

Castelo de Almourol Rota de Coruche a Constância
Rota de Coruche a Constância seguindo o curso do Rio Tejo, e passando por Santarém, Chamusca, Golegã Chamusca, Arrepiado, Tancos e Castelo de Almourol, o ex-libris desta rota.
O castelo de Almourol, está situado numa pequena ilha no meio do Rio Tejo que já era habitada no tempo da ocupação romana. No século VIII, foi ocupada pelos muçulmanos, que a terão conquistado aos visigodos. No âmbito da reconquista cristã da Península Ibérica, Almourol foi conquistado aos mouros em 1129.
Coruche the Constancia following the course of the Tagus River, and through Santarém, Chamusca, Chamusca Golegã, Arrepiado, Tancos and Almourol Castle, the ex-libris of this route.
The Almourol Castle is situated on a small island in the middle of the Tagus River was already inhabited in the Roman occupation of time. In the eighth century, it was occupied by the Muslims, who have conquered the Visigoths. In the context of the Christian reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula, Almourol was conquered from the Moors in 1129.

CONSTÂNCIA, é uma bonita vila, situada no Centro do País, e entre os rios Tejo e Zêzere, muitas vezes apelidada de Vila Poema por ter sido local de residência do grande poeta Português, Luís de Camões, que nela se terá inspirado para algumas das suas obras. Constância ergue-se pela encosta acima, nas suas estreitas ruas de branco caiadas respira-se história, alegradas por flores, cores e paz de espírito. O seu rico património apresenta monumentos como a Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Mártires, com o tecto pintado por José Malhôa, e outros como a Igreja da Misericórdia do século XVII, as Igrejas de Santo António e de São Julião, a Casa Memória de Camões. CONSTÂNCIA, is a beautiful town situated in the center of the Portugal, and between Tejo and Zêzere rivers, often called Poem Village because of the great Portuguese poet Luis de Camoes, who lived there, and has inspired some of his works. Constância has very old narrow and white streets with many flowers, colors and it's a very peaceful place. It has a very rich heritage, with monuments such as Nossa Senhora dos Mártires church, with a painted ceiling by a well known portugues painter, José Malhôa; Misericórdia Church from the seventeenth century; Santo António and São Julião churches; and the Museum House of Luis de Camões. Constância is also famous for the Easter festivities, the Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem Holiday, it's when the village is adorned with colorful papers, little street pubs and street shows.by*carl0spais*YouTube 2011

O município de Almeirim é limitado a norte pelo município de Alpiarça, a leste e nordeste pela Chamusca, a sul por Coruche e Salvaterra de Magos, a oeste pelo Cartaxo e a noroeste por Santarém.
