Dummerston is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,915 at the 2000 census. It is home to the longest covered bridge still in use in Vermont. Its borders include three main villages: Dummerston Center, West Dummerston, and East Dummerston.

The West Dummerston Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge spanning the West River in Dummerston, Vermont, between Vermont Route 30 and Camp Arden Road. Built in 1872, it is at 280 feet the longest covered bridge entirely within the state of Vermont. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Quechee is a census-designated place and one of five unincorporated villages in the town of Hartford, Windsor County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of the CDP was 656. It is the site of Quechee Gorge on the Ottauquechee River and is also the home to the Quechee Lakes planned community initiated in the late 1960s, which also brought to the community the small Quechee Lakes Ski Area in the 1970s. Quechee was known for a picturesque covered bridge at the site of the old Quechee mill, which now houses the Simon Pearce glass-blowing facility and restaurant. The bridge was severely damaged by flooding caused by Hurricane Irene in 2011. The bridge has since been rebuilt. Quechee has a small branch post office with zip code 05059.

It is one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art and performing arts in the United States. The complex was built by the Arnold Print Works, a business which operated on the site from 1860 to 1942, and was used by the Sprague Electric Company before its conversion. Droning Vermont was filmed in several different parts of Vermont during foliage season. In retrospect, I probably should have planned this trip a week earlier, but with such a dry season it was very hard to predict the foliage this year. Regardless, New England is a beautiful place to live or to visit. A large portion of the footage in this video was filmed at the Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont.
