Wielewaal campsite, Baarle, Netherlands - one of the best sites I have visited!
De Wielewaal (the Golden Oriole) is a small campsite located in the very curious village of Baarle-Nassau / Hertog where the borders of the Netherlands and Belgium are intertwined to form 24 Belgian exclaves and seven Dutch exclaves within the Belgian exclaves. It is located in a beautiful walking and cycling area and there are also fish ponds here. Many guests are long term making use of the many facilities here.
This is one of the best campsites I have ever visited.

Netherlands by camper
In August 2016 I have decided to join my parents on their trip to Netherlands. Spending two weeks in a camper, travelling in a country I had never been before. We drove from our town in Italy, passing through the Alps, France and then Belgium. The small towns of the Zeeland and South Holland have been the first visited, then we also visited bigger cities such as Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague and the end, Amsterdam, where I took a flight to come home.

Nederland is een vlak land. Er zijn hier geen bergen of rotsen. En toch vind je in Drenthe binnen een straal van 30 km de restanten van 53 prehistorische grafkelders, bestaande uit soms meer dan 20 ton wegende rotsblokken. Hunebedden noemen we ze. Maar wat zijn nou eigenlijk hunebedden, hoe kwamen die enorme keien hier en hoe oud zijn ze, waarvoor dienden ze, door wie werden ze gebouwd en hoe..?. Wat voor mysterie schuilt er achter deze megalieten uit de oudheid..?

Motorhome stellplatz at Krefeld, Germany
The motorhome aire at Krefeld Linn was recently opened and is close to sites of interest in that area including an industrial museum and nineteenth century industrial housing, a castle, Jewish cemetery and park. It is located at around 8km from the centre of Krefeld which one can get to by tram - the stop is located next to the stellplatz.
