Falset is the principal village of the comarca of the Priorat, in Catalonia, very famous for its wine. It has a castle and two palaces . It is located about 30km inland from Salou on the N420 road. The old winery of Falset, also known in Catalonia as one of the Wine Cathedrals, is from Modernisme and Noucentisme style and was designed by the architect Cèsar Martinell.

This is a list of the 42 comarques into which Catalonia is divided. A comarca is a group of municipalities, roughly equivalent to a US or UK county. However, in the context of Catalonia, the term county can be a bit misleading, because in medieval Catalonia, aside from the kings of Aragon, the most important rulers were counts, notably the Counts of Barcelona and of Urgell. Comarques have no particular relation to the counties that were ruled by counts.

The beautiful beachside street of Salou

Here we are looking for a place to eat along the beautiful beachside street of Salou, as you can see there are plenty of places to choose from whether you are looking for the familiar (Mc Donald's) or some local food joint or even something classier. There are plenty of souvenire shoppes and beach supply shops as well. It is very safe and clean here. Here it is perhaps 10 PM and I felt no danger walking in Salou, another video we are walking in the beach after our dinner and I can honestly say....no feeling of danger.
