The village is contiguous with Winterbourne to the south-west and Coalpit Heath to the east. The parish borders Iron Acton to the north and Westerleigh to the south-east, the large town of Yate is 3 miles away. The village is 8.7 miles north-east of the city of Bristol. Narrowboat Gloucester & Sharpness Canal & Railway Disaster

We've navigated to the end of the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal to the Sharpness Docks. I discover what's at the end of the canal and see the remains of the Severn Railway Bridge devastated in the 1960's by barges crashing into it's supporting columns. I walk along the longest village green in England, which is a true example of picture postcard English village. I also discuss the bad sides of the canal including the bobbing up and down and the rude rowers.

Drone footage shows surfers riding the Severn Bore

It's not Bondi Beach or Maui. Instead surfers from around the world braved chilly conditions of Newnham-on-Severn, in Gloucestershire to ride the river's Bore, on Friday. The Bore, which is a tidal phenomena that occurs in the lower reaches of the river, can been surging up the estuary carrying a slew of surfers. Hundreds of spectators are also seen lined along the riverbank to catch a glimpse of the first and only daytime five-star bore.

Sark Sheep Racing Weekend 2014

This is the very popular Sark Sheep Racing event from 2014. This takes place every year on the island of Sark in the Channel Islands. In 2014 it took place on the weekend of Saturday 19th July and Sunday 20th July.

After the official races ended on Sunday there seemed to be a few alternative races happening, which you can see at 4:05. Maybe you were there or know someone who went there that year.

It shows footage from Saturday and up to the end of the day on Sunday when everything was being packed away.
