Olympic Valley, California is an unincorporated community located in Placer County northwest of Tahoe City along California State Highway 89 on the banks of the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe. It is home to Squaw Valley Ski Resort, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Olympic Valley is the smallest resort area to host the Olympic Winter Games.

Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a ski resort in the northwest United States in northern Idaho, 11 miles northwest of Sandpoint. Located in Bonner County in the Selkirk Mountains, it overlooks Lake Pend Oreille to the southeast with views of the Bitterroot and Cabinet mountain ranges. The ski area is approximately 45 miles south of the Canada–US border. Schweitzer Mountain has a summit elevation of 6,400 feet above sea level with a vertical drop of 2,440 feet . There are 92 named runs and open bowls on Schweitzer's skiable area of 2,900 acres , and the average annual snowfall is over 300 inches . 3. Wapama Falls at Hetch Hetchy Yosemite National Park
Wapama Falls is the larger of two waterfalls located on the northern wall of Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite National Park. It flows almost year-round and during peak flow has been known to inundate the trail bridge crossing its base, making the falls impossible to pass. The falls consist of two primary drops angled roughly 60 degrees to each other, and a broad cascade at its base. Wapama Falls is fed by Lake Vernon, a few miles to the north. Wapama Falls descends just under 1,100 feet. Like Yosemite Falls, it has three distinct parts. The topmost is a free drop of perhaps 300 feet, followed by a steeply-cascading stream which descends 600 feet in a steep-sided gorge, much like the stream between Upper and Lower Yosemite Fall. Visit to Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay (includes tramlapse tour)

A visit to the largest island in San Francisco Bay: Angel Island. On an unusually warm December day. With the exception of a small portion that is a U.S. Coast Guard Station, the entire island is a California State Park. We arrive and leave by ferry, and take a tramlapse tour around the island, stopping at about 13 different points of interest, including some very good views and a bit of history, too (my first ever tramlapse video). We'll even briefly teleport over to the Golden Gate Bridge.

There are several editing mistakes that snuck through in a few places, oh well... Maybe we'll have a contest to see who can find them all.

Semi Abandoned Town In Nevada Desert - Creepy Buildings, Abandoned Cars & More

Driving between Las Vegas and Reno Nevada on Hwy 95, you come across the strange little semi - abandoned town of Goldfield. I often wonder what people do for a living here because really, there is pretty much nothing around for miles. This spooky town is very close to the infamous and kinda creepy Area 51. Abandoned cars in the streets and yards, abandoned homes, storage containers out in the open, deserted buildings, closed businesses all boarded up...it just seems so weird when you come from a large city environment! We LOVE it though...it's so unique! Just one of the many crazy sights you'll come across exploring the Nevada desert...truly...there is nothing quite like it! ~Kenneth King Bear

Firetruck ride, Moclips, WA pancake breakfast
