Jiashan County is a county in the north of Zhejiang Province, bordering Shanghai to the northeast and Jiangsu province to the north. It is administered by the prefecture-level city of Jiaxing. Jiashan is nicknamed The Land of Fish and Rice, and is 80 km southwest of central Shanghai, 95 km east of Hangzhou, and 90 km south of Suzhou. The county seat is located on 126 People Avenue, Weitang Town. The second campus of Sanda University, known as Guangbiao Institute, is located in Jiashan County.

浙江西塘水鄉風情 Xitong, China

Xitang is an ancient scenic town in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, China. Its history dates back to at least the Spring and Autumn Period when it was located at the border of the State of Yue and Wu.

Xitang is a water town crisscrossed by nine rivers. The town stretches across eight sections, linked by old-fashioned stone bridges. In the older parts of town, the buildings are set along the banks of the canals, which serve as the main transportation thoroughfares in the area.

西塘，江南六大古鎮之一，位於浙江省嘉興市嘉善縣。嘉善位於江，浙，滬，二省一市交界處，這裡離上海，蘇州，杭州都在100公里以內，交通方便，高速公路，320國道，滬杭鐵路穿境而過，乘坐汽車，火車均能到達。

西塘是一座已有千年曆史文化的古鎮。早在春秋戰國時期就是吳越兩國的相交之地，故有吳根越角和越角人家之稱。西塘與其它水鄉古鎮最大的不同在於古鎮中臨河的街道都有廊棚，總長近千米，就像頤和園的長廊一樣。

古鎮西塘，佔地面積1平方公里，古鎮區9條河道縱橫交織，將古鎮分為8個區塊，在其中有27座古橋將市鎮連通。古鎮在春夏秋冬、晴陰雨雪的長久年代裡，始終呈現著一幅，人家在水中，水上架小橋，橋上行人走，小舟行橋下，橋頭立商舖，水中有倒影的不斷變幻的水鄉風情畫。

2001年西塘被聯合國列入世界文化遺產預備清單。

Xitang (Chinese: 西塘; pinyin: Xītáng) is an ancient scenic town in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, China. Its history dates back to at least the Spring and Autumn period when it was located at the border of the State of Yue and Wu.

Xitang is a water town crisscrossed by nine rivers. The town stretches across eight sections, linked by old-fashioned stone bridges. In the older parts of town, the buildings are set along the banks of the canals, which serve as the main transportation thoroughfares in the area.

Xitang also contains numerous antique residences and temples, such as the Temple of the Seven Masters. The town keeps a tranquil ambience and scenic beauty, making it a very popular tourist attraction. It is frequently depicted in Chinese landscape painting.

Xitang locations were featured in the final sequences of the motion picture Mission: Impossible III.

Xitang (chinois : 西塘镇 ; pinyin : Xītáng zhèn) est un bourg chinois situé au sud de l'embouchure du Yangzi Jiang (Yangzi), à proximité de la ville de Jiashan, au nord de la province du Zhejiang.

Xitang est entièrement construit autour de canaux, à l'instar d'autres bourgs de la région du Jiangnan, comme Nanxun et Wuzhen. Les neuf rivières qui le traversent le divisent en huit secteurs, reliés les uns aux autres par 104 ponts. Ses nombreuses ruelles, allées et passages couverts, ainsi que ses maisons anciennes, datant pour certaines des dynasties Ming (1368-1644) et Qing (1644-1911), lui confèrent un intérêt historique et artistique tout particulier.

L'économie y est principalement basée sur l'artisanat, bien qu'à un moindre degré qu'à Wuzhen. L'activité touristique y est récente, et les visiteurs sont encore en grande majorité des Chinois.

Dongfang Hotel Jiashan

The Dongfang Hotel (Dongfang Dasha) is located in the center of Weitang, on the border of Zhejiang Province and Shanghai's Pudong District. The Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway, National Highway 320 and Shanghai-Hangzhou Freeway all provide convenient access to both cities, while Hongqiao International Airport is 50-minutes away by car.

As the largest comprehensive commercial service center in Jiashan County, the Dongfang offers standard rooms and deluxe suites.

Dining options include both a Chinese and Western restaurant, while there is also a large banquet hall with a capacity of around 800 people.

The hotel is home to an 8,000 square-meter shopping center, and meeting rooms are available for business-oriented guests.
