Pike fishing Ireland 2019

Welcome back!
On Easter Monday together with my brother we went out pike fishing on the same river that goes thru our town but 40 miles further.
We were amazed to see some nice pikes there.
Holy cross at the start is situated in Clonmel, ant the Abbey and Pope statue that's actual Holycross town.
Day permits obtained in Holycross Abbey pub. 15e a day.
Nice place to visit with some nice fish.

The Derelict Haunted Convent in Monchique, Algarve

The convent of Nossa Senhora do Desterro, Our Lady of Exile, was founded in 1631 by Pêro da Silva, who later became the vice-Roy of India. According to legend, the founding of the convent was due to a promise made by two sailors at sea who swore to build a church at the first site of Portuguese land.

We visited this in March 2013. An unusual place to stumble upon and a great view of the surrounding countryside.
