Kos is a Greek island, part of the Dodecanese island chain in the southeastern Aegean Sea, off the Anatolian coast of Turkey. The principal town of the island and seat of the municipality is Kos town.

Un endroit idéal pour des vacances, Kos est la plus verte et la plus fertile île du groupe et la deuxième plus populaire et touristique aprés Rhodes la cosmopolite. Kos est l'île qui a donné au monde Hippocrate le père de la médecine. C'est une île longue et étroite, presque plate avec 2 montagnes basses, Kikaio (875m) et Simpatro, qui longent la côte sud. Kos posséde tout ce qu'il faut pour répondre aux demandes des touristes: séduisants villages de montagne, paysages verdoyants, sources d'eau, des plages superbes de toutes tailles et couleurs, une excellente infrastructure touristique. Vraiment Kos est un endroit à découvrir. Il y a quantités de plages sur toute l'île la plupart accessibles à bicyclette qui est le moyen de transport le plus utilisé sur Kos. La capitale de Cos se trouve au NE de l'île. Ce n'est pas une grande ville mais ses larges avenues pavées, la profusion de verdure, les allées de plamiers créent une impression agréable. Avec une profusion de sites archéologiques dans et autour de la ville, Cos est l'endroit idéal pour aller à pied ou à vélo. On y trouve quantité de magasins touristiques de bars, cafés et restaurants. Le port est pittoresque avec ses bateaux de croisière, yachts, et ses bateaux de pêche traditionnels. Pour ceux qui ne veulent pas s'éloigner de la ville, il y a à une courte distance à pied des plages publiques qui offrent des tas de facilités et une grande variété de sports d'eau.

Telendos - a tiny and peaceful Greek island
Many would be bored stiff on Telendos, but for those who like tranquility, peace and beauty it is a lovely place with no cars and just a few people.
There are about 6 beaches and a few family owned taverns - an ideal place to relax doing nothing but walking, swimming, reading. Noise? Well, by nature cocks do crow.
Like Kalymnos it has also become a popular destination for rock climbers.

Let's go to the beautiful Greek island of KOS and let's visit the spectacular Marmari Beach (the island's best beach). Here, we are going to find wonderful fine white sand, sand dunes and lots of people surfing and kite surfing as well.
Marmari lies along the north coast of Kos about 15 kilometres from Kos Town and a walkable distance from the neighbouring holiday beach at Tingaki. It's mostly good, soft sand with a just few stones and some shingle dotted here and there. Marmari beach is gently shelving along the shoreline so it is a fine holiday beach for families with children.
