China has so many amazing street foods to try, and I've been filming and documenting them for you for the past 4 years. In my opinion, the best noodle dish in China is dan dan noodles, right here in Chengdu, Sichuan. China has some of the best street food around the world, and these dan dan noodles were INSANELY GOOD, some of the best noodles in China for sure!
If you're traveling to China to eat and try different street foods, and perhaps want to learn a little bit about Chinese food and chinese cooking in the process, you need to try a few different variations of Dan Dan noodles. When they prepare the traditional Chinese dan dan noodle recipe right on the street, you can watch as they scoop the main ingredients like chili oil, soy sauce, sichuan peppercorn, and garlic right into the noodle bowl and then place the steaming hot noodles right over top. It's truly satisfying! After they put the noodles over top, they place their signature fried ground pork on top, known in Chinese as shaozi.
When your dan dan noodles arrive to your table, it is very important to mix up all the chili oil and all of the ingredients throughout. This ensures that the flavour and the hot oil gets coated onto each noodle before you take a bite. It's also quite satisfying mixing the noodles and watching the dark red oil slowly turn each noodle from white into red and silky smooth.
When you take your first bite, you'll understand why this is one of the BEST Chinese street foods you need to try. The spicy noodles are coated with an incredibly aromatic chili oil and really send you straight up to heaven! It's one of the best forms of Chinese cooking!

Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico - Merida is an a beautiful, well organized, clean, and friendly city in Mexico, and the capital of the Yucatan State. We only had one full day in Merida on this trip, and so we wanted to make the most of it. I’m taking you on a one day Mexican street food and attractions tour of Merida!
Taqueria La Lupita - In the morning we first headed to a local market to eat breakfast. Taqueria La Lupita is a very cool breakfast spot where you can eat local Mexican Yucatan food. We tried some tacos de conchinta pibil, panuchos, relleno negro, and mondongo kabi. The panuchos were the winner.
Total price - 238 MXN ($12.64) for all
Maiz, Canela y Cilantro - It’s always good to have breakfast number 2, and this wasn’t a street food spot, but a nice cafe, and great for families. The reason I wanted to come here was to try their version of Huevos Motuleños, a Mexican egg dish originating from a small town of the same name not far away. It was a stunner.
Total price - 300 MXN ($15.94) for all
Plaza Grande and Horse Ride - Moving on to some of the sightseeing and attractions in Merida, we walked around Plaza Grande and took a horse ride to see some sights around the city. It was wonderful, to enjoy Merida from a horse carriage.
Mango - 15 MXN ($0.80) - One our way to the market, we stopped for a mango. Always delicious!
Mercado Lucas de Galvez - For lunch we headed to one of the main markets in the center of Merida called Mercado Lucas de Galvez. After walking around for a while we went upstairs and found a couple friendly aunties who cooked up a storm. We tried their, mole, relleno negro again, and sopa de Lima, which was the ultimate dish of the day for me.
Total price - 300 MXN ($15.94) for all
Restaurant y Cockteleria Tikinxic II - Finally for dinner I had really wanted to try a Mayan fish dish called tikin xic before leaving the Yucatan, so we searched out a Mexican seafood restaurant to try. It was a little outside of the center of the city, but it was pretty good.
Total price - 758 MXN ($40.27) for all
This was a fantastic day of Mexican street food in Merida. Merida is one of the most pleasant cities to explore in Mexico!

How to eat a Persian Melon?
How to eat a Persian Melon?
We went to the Botanical Garden in Oslo, the Capital of Norway. We had this supergood raw and delicious Persian/Iranian Melon. It tasted so good! The original name of the fruit is Persian Melon make a great addition to any breakfast. Just remove the seeds, cut into slices and enjoy!
After picking melons will ripen but their sugar content does not increase much. At room temperature it takes up to four days for melons to ripen and get more juicy. Melons are ethylene sensitive, so they ripen faster if stored with ethylene-producing fruit! A Persian
Persian Melons are low in Saturated Fat and Sodium, and very low in Cholesterol. They are also a good source of Dietary Fiber, and an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C.

The streets of Barcelona - RRZ518 visits November 2006
rrz518 enjoys this amazing dramatic Spanish Catalan architecture. Barcelona is today one of the world's leading tourist, economic, trade fair/exhibitions and cultural-sports centres, and its influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities.[9][10] Indeed, it is a major cultural and economic centre in southwestern Europe (Iberian Peninsula), 24th in the world (after Zurich, before Frankfurt)[11] and a growing financial centre (Diagonal Mar and Gran Via). It is the fourth economically powerful city by GDP in the European Union and 35th in the world with an output amounting to €177 billion.[12] As of 2009 the city was ranked Europe's third and one of the world's most successful as a city brand.[13] At the same time, the city was ranked Europe's fourth best city for business and fastest improving European city, with growth improved by 17% per year.[14] Barcelona is the transport hub with one of Europe's principal ports, Barcelona international airport, which handles above 35 million passengers per year, extensive motorway network and also is a hub of high-speed rail, particularly that which is intended to link Spain with France and the rest of Europe as the second longest in the world.[15]

Shanghai in China is home to some of the tastiest dishes in the world. Join us as we visit some of the best restaurants in Shanghai to try out local Shanghainese fair as well as sample some of the city’s best international offerings. Our first stop is Jian Guo 328 where we try Shanghai’s famous Hong Shao Rou, delicious braised pork bites with quail eggs and chestnuts. Next, we visit 1970s-inspired Daimon on The Bund where they serve up Hong Kong-style food with a twist, such as Chilli Crab Xiao Long Baos and (our favourite) Claypot Rice with Iberico Ham! We also pop over to Shanghai's Xiao Long Bao institution Jia Jia Tang Bao for way too many of their famous Pork & Crab and Pure Crab Xiao Long Baos. We taste our way through upscale Hakkasan’s delicious lily bulb and prawn dumplings before finishing with an experience of Chinese-Italian fusion at Xixi Bistro in hip Xin Tian Di. Durian Fruit: A Smell So Rotten, a Taste So Sweet
Durian has been described as the most foul-smelling fruit in the world. Its aroma has been compared to raw sewage, rotting flesh and smelly gym socks. Durian’s smell is so pungent that the spiky-skinned, custard-like fruit is even banned from public places in Singapore and Malaysia. But for its fans, there is nothing better in this world.

Day 3 (Traveling from Chanthaburi → Trat (จันทบุรี → ตราด): Eastern Thailand Food and Travel Tour. Watch all 8 videos here:
We continued on our Eastern Thailand food and travel tour, today driving from Chanthaburi to Trat. Trat (ตราด sometimes also spelled Trad in English) is the Eastern most part of Thailand, bordering Cambodia. They are famous for fruit, and a few islands, especially Koh Chang that are popular tourist destinations.
Thai phrase of the day:
“If you haven’t eaten it, you haven’t arrived” (ถ้าไม่ได้กิน ถือว่า มาไม่ถึง)
Key ingredients of the day:
Naw sabparod (น่อสับปะรด) - pineapple crowns
Sala (สละ) - salacca zalacca
For breakfast though, still in Chanthaburi, we ate a dish that many say you have to eat in Chanthaburi, known as kuay teow moo liang.
Kuay Teow Moo Ba Malee (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวหมูป้ามาลี) - Decent restaurant, nice quiet neighborhood location.
Kuay teow moo liang (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวหมูเลียง)
Kuay teow neua liang (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเนื้อเลียง)
Price - 30 THB ($0.96) per bowl
Khao Gaeng San Toong (ข้าวแกงแสนตุ้งเจ๊มล (เจ้าเก่า) - The meal I was most looking forward to during this day though was a legendary Thai rice and curry restaurant serving Thai Trat style curry and rice. They didn’t have a huge selection of Thai curries, but what they did have was spectacular. Their deer curry with pineapple crowns, was the dish of the meal - amazing Thai food.
Fish curry (แกงปลาขาไก่)
Deer curry (แกงกวางหน่อสับปะรด)
Green curry, king mackerel fish balls (แกงเขียวหวานลูกชิ้นปลาอินทรีย์)
Mackerel (ปลาทูต้มเค็ม)
Cockle pineapple curry (แกงหอยสับปะรด)
Total price - 380 THB ($12.13)
