Moissy-Cramayel is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the metropolitan area of Paris, 33 km southeast from the center of Paris, in the new town of Sénart, created in the 1970s. Moissy-Cramayel is one of the satellite towns of Paris, being separated from the urban area of Paris by some agricultural land. However, with the rapid growth of the area of Sénart, of which Moissy-Cramayel is a central component, it is expected that in the near future Moissy-Cramayel, like the other communes of Sénart, will become physically linked to the urban area of Paris.
