In this video I visited Itacoatiara in the city of Niterói. I did an amazing trail called Costão de Itacoatiara which had some really beautiful views. Niterói has some great places to visit if you want to see somewhere other than Rio

Only 13 km (8.08 miles) separates the beauties of Niteroi of the Wonderful City. A tour is already justified by the beautiful view that has the greatest sights of Rio de Janeiro. However, Niterói is more than that. The Contemporary Art Museum (MAC), the complex of forts, renowned Fish Market, fashion center, diversified trade and also an excellent gastronomic area makes Niteroi an important tourist destiny of the national scene.

In this video I visited the famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro. I rented a bike and also did some stand up paddle boarding. There are always fun things to do if you are visiting these beaches in Brazil :D

This space-age modernist structure, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, houses the Niteroi Contemporary Art Museum.
Situated at the bottom of cliff, with a spectacular beach and view of surrounding small islands and distance mountains, this museum provides visitors with more than spectacular works of art.
The reflecting pool of blue-green ocean water beneath the structure was intended by Niemeyer to be the likeness of a flower.

An absolute must is the climb by railway to the famous statue of Christ Cristo Redentor on Corcovado mountain with its beautiful view of the city.
The visit over two stages with the cable car to the Sugar Loaf Pão de Açúcar belongs to every sightseeing. You are rewarded with a magnificent view of the sea side of this beautiful city.
The Parque Nacional da Tijuca is the largest urban rainforest. You can enjoy a pleasant silence in this natural oasis near the everlasting noise of Rio.

The Botanical Garden Jardim Botânico was founded in 1809 by Dom João VI. It's a very beautiful tropical park.

In this video I visited the amazing tropical beach called Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia in Arraial do Cabo. This is the best beach that I have visited so far in Brazil and is definitely one of the best beaches that you will find in the entire country. A lot of people don't expect Rio to have these kind of beaches. A must visit if travelling to Rio!
