Noarlunga Centre is a suburb in the City of Onkaparinga in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The suburb is mostly commercial, being dominated by the Centro Colonnades shopping centre and the small 'Inspire Noarlunga' estate to the east of Goldsmith Road. Located on the shore of Holdfast Bay in Gulf St Vincent, it has become a tourist destination due to its beach and many attractions, home to several hotels and dozens of restaurants. Glenelg also became infamous for being the site of the Beaumont children disappearance in 1966. Established in 1836, it is the oldest European settlement on mainland South Australia. It was named after Lord Glenelg, a member of British Cabinet and Secretary of State for War and the Colonies. Through Lord Glenelg the name derives from Glenelg, Highland, Scotland. In Scottish Gaelic the name is Gleann Eilg. The name Glenelg is noteworthy for being a palindrome.

Adelaide to Victor Harbor Timelapse, South Australia

Driving 87km from Norwood (3km from Adelaide CBD) to Victor Harbor via South Road/Main South Road (A13), Southern Expressway (M2) and Victor Harbor Road (A13).

We bypass the population centres of Noarlunga, McLaren Vale and Willunga. This route is a strong blend of city driving through Adelaide's southern suburbs and country driving through the Fleurieu Peninsula region!

87 km compiled into a 6 minute timelapse/drivelapse (77 minutes real time).

Pro-Dive dives the ex-HMAS Adelaide every day on the NSW Central Coast. The ex-HMAS Adelaide Artificial Reef is just a 5 minutes boat trip from Terrigal and Pro-Dive has an exclusive mooring to dive her. Already there is the beginnings of marine life establishing a foothold on the ship. This video shows some scenes of the interesting things to be found inside the ship. To dive the whole ship would take many dives as its so extensive. No matter how many dive you do there is always something new to be seen.

On 19/03/1986,we visited the 5AA Sausage Sizzle hosted by Guy Blackmore at the State Transport Authority (STA) Bus/Train Interchange at the Noarlunga Centre, South Australia.

This brief video clip captured snippets of activities at the interchange,consisting of STA buses (including bendy buses), and 300 class (Red Hens) and 2000 class (Jumbos) broad-gauge, diesel powered rail cars.
