North Conway is a census-designated place and village in eastern Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 2,349 at the 2010 census. A year-round resort area, North Conway is the largest village within the town of Conway, which is bounded on the east by the Maine state line. The White Mountain National Forest is to the west and north. Conway is home to Cathedral Ledge , Echo Lake State Park, and Mount Cranmore. North Conway is known for its large number of outlet shops.

New Hampshire Route 112 is a 56.39-mile-long east–west state highway in northern New Hampshire. The highway winds across the state, connecting Bath to Conway through the heart of the scenic and mountainous White Mountain National Forest. The eastern portion of NH 112 is known as the Kancamagus Highway, running 32 miles through the White Mountains from Lincoln to Conway. 26.5 miles of the highway have been designated a National Scenic Byway by the United States Department of Transportation under the name Kancamagus Scenic Byway. Diana's Baths is a series of small waterfalls located in the southeastern corner of the town of Bartlett, New Hampshire, near the village of North Conway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, United States. This historic site is within the White Mountain National Forest. The stream that flows into this waterfall is called Lucy Brook. The waterfalls were once the location of an old sawmill operation in the 1800s. After the sawmill was abandoned by the Lucy family in the 1940s, it was turned into a historic site that would be protected by the U.S. Forest Service. The Conway Scenic Railroad is a heritage railway in North Conway, New Hampshire, United States, owned and operated by Profile Mountain Holdings Corp. The railroad operates over two historic railway routes: a line from North Conway to Conway that was formerly part of the Conway Branch of the Boston and Maine Railroad, and a line from North Conway through Crawford Notch to Fabyan that was once part of the Mountain Division of the Maine Central Railroad. The Conway line is owned by Conway Scenic, and the Mountain Division is owned by the State of New Hampshire. The railroad's main terminal is located in historic downtown North Conway in the Mount Washington valley. The station complex has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979.

Cog Railway To The Summit Of MOUNT WASHINGTON

July 17, 2014: Jon and Becka conclude their day trip in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire by taking the famous Cog Railroad to the summit of New England's highest peak, the summit of Mount Washington. They briefly enjoy the view from the top before clouds roll in, explore the nearby museum, and learn history about the mountain and its trains.
