Top 10 Things To Do in BARCELONA 2018, A Locals Guide
So you are going to barcelona in 2018, and want tips on where to stay, where to eat, where to go. Then join me as i explore my favourite city and give you a local's guide to Barcelona. My top 10 places to go and see.
Best neighbourhoods to stay, el gotico, el born, el raval, gracia, barceloneta and eixample, but the first 3 are my top pick. barceloneta will put you by the beach, el born has the trendiest mix of bars, el raval although considered rough in parts is more affordable and right in the centre, el gotico, is the most expensive but EVERYTHING is on your doorstep, literally everything.
1. Las Ramblas ( in Gotico, nearest metro is Liceu, Gotico is the best area to stay in Barcelona, you will be at the heart of everything
2. Rooftop bars, there are plenty to explore but my favourite is definitely Hotel 1898 and the tapas there especially the croquetas are definitely worth trying ( nearest metro is Liceu, it is just of the las ramblas street
3. Plaza real, home to one of my favourite nightclubs, jamboree. it isnt quite a superclub but the underground atmosphere and mix of urban and old school music makes it a great night out. there are also plenty of restaurants to have lunch at but if you fancy a drink, Ocana is the bar for you.
4. La sagrada familia, nearest metro is sagrada familia, free entry on a sunday, better to book online, there can always be hefty queus
5. Barcelona's beaches. the main picks in the centre are Barceloneta which is usually very crowded but has some cool bars and chiringitos to grab a drink or Bogatel which is much larger and cleaner and less crowded, also more locals go here. on a saturday you can find lots of activities being played including volleyball if you like to get involved
6. Cuitat vella parc, nearest metros are arc de triomf and jaume, free entry and nice to visit with a picnic, book and blanket
7. Barcelona's superclubs, the one i visited was Bling Bling off avinguda diagonal but Shoko, Pacha, Otto Zutz are also worth going to, Jamboree if you fancy a more underground vibe and less pricey
8. Brunch - Brunch & Cake is definitely a must, nearest metro is passage de gracia but a second option is Tropico in Raval, Make sure you book ahead as brunch in barcelona is ALWAYS a busy affair
9. The Bunkers, take a blanket and some beers and go climb the rockies to enjoy a view over all of Barcelona, absolutely free to do just wear comfortable shoes, no flip-flops, its a bit of a hike but you can always take a taxi to the top
10. Paella at L'amfora, nearest metro is Para.lel. make sure to book in advance and my pick off the menu would be the seafood paella, the sangrias there are also worth having

Places to see in ( Barcelona - Spain ) Placa Reial
Plaça Reial is a square in the Barri Gòtic of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It lies next to La Rambla and is a well-known tourist attraction, especially at night. On the plaza are a large number of restaurants and some of the city's most famous nightclubs including Sidecar, Jamboree and Karma.
It is also known for its many outdoor venues and is a popular meeting place during the summer and the annual La Mercè festival in September, when open-air concerts take place, and during other celebrations such as New Year's Eve, often being very crowded.
On the same spot, there was the Capuchin convent of Santa Madrona that was demolished in 1835. In its place,a square named Plaça Reial was designed by Francesc Daniel Molina i Casamajó in the 19th century. The square is twinned with Plaza Garibaldi, in Mexico City. The lanterns there were designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The square is the site of the Hotel Roma Reial and club.

Spain
Our trip as back at the end of February. For anyone who is wondering we visited: Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, and some others! We had an amazing trip (:
IMPORTANT: we didn't go to Spain for the purpose of making a video for youtube with us in it. What would be the point of walking around filming ourselves when we were surrounded by friends and all these beautiful sites? That would be stupid. Kthankyou (:

A los molinos también les acompaña el imponente castillo de la Muela o de Consuegra, de origen musulmán.

Places to see in ( Corsica - France ) Propriano
Places to see in ( Corsica - France ) Propriano
The coastal town of Propriano is found on the coast of south-west Corsica, at the head of the Valinco Gulf and north-west of Sartene. It is about halfway between the major towns of Ajaccio to the north and Bonifacio to the south. Much of the building in Propriano dates from the early 19th century, when the port was established and most of the town constructed. Although the same location had previously been occupied by the Romans and Greeks little remains of early Propriano, which was frequently attacked and mostly destroyed by pirates during the 18th century.
The most imposing monument in Propriano is the Church of Notre Dame de la Misericorde which dominates the center of the small town. Elsewhere in Propriano, the harbour contains a fascinating combination of exclusive yachts and more modest fishing boats (there is a pleasure port and also a commercial port in the center of Propriano). Wander around the harbour for some of the best views of the town.
The town centre is largely one long main street which is pleasant to explore with the traditional houses now often taken over by luxury shops, cafes and bars. It is now a popular resort in Corsica due to the numerous beaches that are close to hand for visitors to Propriano, including the Plage de Lido one kilometre from the town. As you can imagine boat trips and fishing trips are some of the main activities and you can also go quad biking or parachuting in the area.
The coast north of the town is built up however, and it can be a challenge to escape from the crowds. It is also true to say that there are few places of interest to visit nearby compared to some areas. Ferries to both Sardinia and mainland France operate from the town marina.
