Top 10 Street Foods To Eat In Israel - The Ultimate Israeli Food Tour | BEST Falafel & Hummus Dishes
My Website -
Israel is a middle eastern country on the Mediterranean Sea, it is regarded by Jews, Christians and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land, it has gorgeous beaches, and it is an intense party country.
I am starting my tour in the city of Jaffa, which is the southern and oldest part of Tel Aviv, for some mouth watering dessert.
Then I travel to Givatayim for a Jewish- Iraqi and Israeli treat.
Then I head to Ramat-Gan for some delicious meat.
Followed by a trip to Tel-Aviv for one of Israel's most iconic street foods.
Then a drive to Ramla for a delightful Levantine and Egyptian food.
Next a trip to HaSira Interchange in Herzliya for a sweet treat which is just out of this world.
After checking out this amazing delicacy I will take a short walk to the Glilot junction where I will eat an outstanding filling pastry.
I will then hop over to the city of Or Yehuda for a fresh dish that contains a very rich tomato source.
From there to the city of Petach-Tikva where I will eat a very enjoyable dish that is pounded and fried
And lastly I will end my tour in Israel's capital Jerusalem where I will try out some rather unusual ice cream.
If you love to eat delicious meals in beautiful cities which are very close to each other, then you should add Israel to the list of countries that you are definitely going to visit.
Whether inside a bubbling city or in quiet remote gas station which is far from all the noise you will be sure to find some pretty amazing dishes, and some pretty amazing people.

Taking a Sherut or shared taxi from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
Follow us as we board a Sherut aka shared taxi at Ben Gurion Airport (Tel Aviv) to Jerusalem.
A sherut is a private shared taxi and is typically a mini-van with a seating capacity of 8 to 10 passengers. It runs on 3 routes: 1) from city to city, 2) within a city (usually along a bus route), and 3) from the airport to Jerusalem and Haifa. The fare is cheaper than a private taxi, and the driver drops you off at the door step of your intended destination. A downside is the need to wait for the rest of the seats to be filled up before the driver starts his journey though.
Sherut drivers are known to be excellent navigators and exceptionally skilful drivers. We met with one ourselves and were pleasantly surprised that he shaved 30 minutes off (including drop-offs at 5 different locations before ours) the estimated travel time of 1 hour 30 minutes! Amazing! :D

My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.
