Villa Convento is a unique, independent villa overlooking the medieval centre of Torno. The villa has numerous rooms over several levels built into the hillside and includes part of the original 13th century defensive fortifications of the village. It provides between four and six bedrooms, depending on how the space is used, plus a further two bedrooms in a separate apartment.

The villa has excellent lake views and many historic features, including the original 15th century chapel which now forms the entrance hall. There are mature, terraced gardens which include outside seating areas with a good degree of privacy. The villa faces primarily south and west, with excellent lake views and a boat mooring. There is a large garage accessed from the private, gated driveway and ample space to add a swimming pool.

One of the three pedestrian exits leads to the boat mooring and the central piazza in Torno from where the lake ferry service operates. With a choice of restaurants within walking distance, and a short drive takes you to the much wider range that Como city offers.

Torno and Villa Convento are 45 minutes’ drive from Milan Malpensa airport and 5 minutes’ drive from the centre of Como.
