WE STAYED IN THIS BEAUTIFUL ISLAND FOR FREE! | PULAU REDANG, MALAYSIA
(Recorded on April 23rd, 2018 - in case you’re wondering!)
We got to stay in this beautiful resort for free! Redang is an island off the coast of Terengganu, Malaysia. This place is a must-go for beach-lovers and those looking for a good place to get their first diving experience. We had an amazing time here snorkelling and just chilling after our long adventure in the Komodos. This is indeed, the place to chill. And we got to see some turtles!

My best vacation is somewhere I could hide, somewhere warm and not a lot of people around.
As you grow older, you learn a few things. One of them is to actually take the time you've allotted for vacation.
SEE: Pulau Kapas
Pulau Kapas is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places you will ever visit. It’s truly an island paradise that has a strange power to keep you there longer than you planned on staying. The island is not filled with luxurious and glamorous 5-star hotels and expensive restaurants. It is very minimalistic, has minimal electricity and has less than decent internet speed making it a perfect holiday getaway for you.

Kapas Island Malaysia: Best snorkeling in Asia!
Kapas Island in Malaysia is a true tropical paradise! Picture amazing beaches, blue seas and a castaway vibe. Kapas Island also has some of the best snorkeling in Asia.
I visited Kapas Island (Pulau Kapas), as part of my five month trip around Asia. Basing ourselves in the Kapas Turtle Valley chalets, we took to the seas everyday for snorkelling.
In addition to hundreds of different species of colourful fish, the waters around Kapas Island Malaysia have some incredible sections of coral reef. This snorkelling in Kapas the number one activity, and one you could never get bored of. We stayed on the island for a week, and didn't want to leave!
This is my first time filming underwater with the GoPro, and I was holding the camera in my hand. I'm probably known more for my bike touring vlogs, so this made a bit of a change!
I hope you enjoy the film, and if you are planning a trip to Asia, try to add a visit to Kapas Island into your travel itinerary. I hope you'll love it as much as I did!

Kapas Island or Pulau Kapas is an island located about 6 kilometers east of Marang, Malaysia, with a smaller island, Pulau Gemia, located north of it. Its name, Pulau Kapas (Malay for cotton island), refers to the island's white beaches. The island has tropical jungle, clear seawater, white sand beaches and coral reefs in the surrounding waters. It is promoted as a diving and snorkeling paradise. The island is reached by ferry from Marang.
Perhentian Islands | MALAYSIA, Terengganu | Let's Travel #9
We stayed one week at this amazing place. It was by far one of our favourite places.
The resort was incredible! Almost no people! Amazing beach with warm transparent water. A lot of different animals (monkeys jumping around on the top of the trees, big lizards, baby sharks, etc.)
I loved it and would return there in a heart beat!

Located about 6 kilometers east of Marang, Terengganu, Kapas Island or Pulau Kapas famous for its swaying palm trees, untouched jungle, turquoise water gently lapping at the beach and colourful coral reefs just off the shore.
