Rouse Hill House and farm was the family home of Richard Rouse, the Colonial Superintendent of Public Works and Convicts at Parramatta.The homestead, in the Australian Georgian style, was developed between 1813 and 1819 with further developments in c. 1863.     Rouse Hill is an elevated rapid transit station being built by the Northwest Rapid Transit consortium at the Rouse Hill Town Centre in Sydney, Australia. The project forms part of Transport for New South Wales's $8.3 billion Sydney Metro Northwest scheme. Rouse Hill Station will be one of two new metro stops in the suburb: the other, Tallawong, is being built a few kilometres to the west.
