Nagarkot has great scenic beauty. Its valleys and landscape are great to see. When the weather is good, it is possible to see the Himalayan range including Mount Everest; you'll enjoy the different kind of trees, its smell during nature walk, people, their house and of course the valley means landscape.
People often become confused how to go to Nagarkot by bus. Its better for tourist to start journey from KTM. You can leave your luggage in KTM and start your journey at morning.
You can go by tourist bus which starts at 1 AM from old bus park in KTM costs around 400 NRS.
Otherwise you can go by public bus at morning and it is available every hour. By public bus you will have to change it in Bhaktapur and catch another bus which directly goes to Nagrkot. If you have less lugggage, you can go by public bus as well.
By taxi it will cost 1200 to 1500. It is actually rumour that taxi costs 3000 NR. If you are good at burgaining, you will be able to manage it within 1500 NRS.
After reaching there you can walk and enjoy sunset. The very next morning you can enjoy sunrise and village & nature walk, which is really worthwhile. There is a tourist information center in the main city centre, you can get information from there as well. You can hire a guide for awalk from hotel and it willcost less, depends on time.If you want to hire guide from tourist office, it is more expensive though the service from hotel guide is same.
There are many nice cottages and all are not available in the website. If you want to stay more you can book by website for 1 night. Later on you can change after going there. Wish you happy journey.

Hi everyone, Today I’m going to the tourist market, next to Chatuchak weekend market aka JJ market. This is “OR TOR KOR market aka Marketing Organization for Farmers”, TOP 10 of the world's best fresh markets (CNN: that you should visit there. Or Tor Kor is a variety of good vegetables, fruit, seafood, meat, fresh food, dessert, paste from around Thailand.
And today I’d like to share with you, THE 8 BEST FOOD that you have to try in Or Tor Kor food court. ( BK online magazine: ) but I think that too much to have 8 dishes in 1 day, so I choose 4 dishes from them to try!
The first dish is Pork Satay (Grill pork with turmeric and dip with the sweet& peanut sauce) from Moo Satay by Heiy hui Zone 10/21. The price is 70 baht per 10 sticks (~ 2.1$).
Number 2, there should be Kaeng Massaman Gai by Mae Malee Zone 9/11-12. Sadly, I’m too late. Keen Massaman is out! it’s so popular dish. So I give up from them and buy another dish from Mae Malee. That is Thai rice noodle with crab sauce ( 50-100 baht ~ 1.5-3 $)
NEXT!, THIS IS THE BEST CRISPY PORK IN THE WORLD. “ Fried crispy pork curry at Jiep Moo Krop” Zone 9/28 and yea, I’m sorry the pork curry is sold out too. So I pick the plain crispy pork with 2 different sauces. ( 60 baht ~ 2$)
and the last but not least, there is Taothueng at Ta-Wan Taothueng-Song-Kreung Zone 9/45-46. This is fresh Chinese dessert that made from fresh longan juice and adds many bowls of cereal such as Chinese dates, dried longan, coconut jelly, red bean, ginkgo and more (30 baht ~ 1$)

Nai Yang Beach Phuket one of the best beaches in Phuket to enjoy kite boarding and wind surfing, the winds up at this location are always good. Nai Yang beach is a pretty large beach and the open bay to the ocean is always a beautiful setting. I like to come up to Nai Yang about once a week to enjoy these water activities and of course see the beautiful surroundings.
If you have always wanted to kite board or wind surf there are 3 -4 good shops that will teach you this sport, most shops offer around the same price for their lessons so you just have to take your pick, if you are traveling in a group, they offer some pretty good group prices. The one thing about kite boarding or wind surfing once you start, you are hooked; it really is that fun.
Nai Yang beach is very close to the airport; about 10 minutes, and if you want to go south to Patong the drive is about 45 minutes, I live in Kata beach and it usually takes me about 50 minutes to get to Nai Yang beach.
You will also find numerous seafood and Thai food restaurants; most of these places are located on the small road behind the beach, please check out my video tour of these great little places to eat at.

From India To Nepal
We paddled everyday from dawn till dark, taking small breaks in between, watching plain fields turn into hills, villages go by, crossed the river streams at the Indo-Nepal border at Sanaouli and the Chitwan National park. We saw the landscapes changing around us but the new clean air, the water, the local chai and the food on the way, the stays at random unknown local houses and the Himalayas started changing us inside as we paddled forth. I was taken back to my childhood when I used to read Ruskin Bond and him saying ‘to be able to laugh and to be merciful are the only things that make man better than the beast’. I could see that here, that ear to ear smile and those shy eyes on every face as they welcomed us into their houses at night, offering their local food and drinks and love. It’s the people who made this place more than just a physical geographic entity.
On our cycling journey the setting darkness was the indication, it was time to stop and knock on a door, be welcomed by a new family waiting to be yours and experience the warm hospitality...“
