The beautiful town Seydisfjordur in late April, East Iceland.
It is a beautiful scenery to drive to Seyðisfjörður.
Seyðisfjörður, a fjord skillfully carved by the ice age glacier, is distinguished by excellent harbour facilities and Norwegian heritage. Seyðisfjörður has been an important trading center from the nineteenth century up to modern times, due to natural harbor and proximity to the european continent.
The colourful, Norwegian-style wooden houses, dating from the early years of the 20th. century render this village unique in Iceland.
Seydisfjordur Iceland
A place of singing waterfalls and peculiar characters, Seydisfjordur is a welcoming town booming with creativity and rich in history. Inhabited by about 700 people the town acts as one big family, and a friendly one at that. Everybody is welcome to our little paradise and we want to share the goodness with you.
The long, calm, deep fjord of Seydisfjordur twists and turns 17 kilometres from its mouth to the head of the fjord, where the town of the same name shelters beneath Mt. Strandartindur and Mt. Bjolfur.
In the valley above the town, the river Fjardara cascades from the edge of the heath above in innumerable beautiful waterfalls, down to Lon (the lagoon) at the head of the fjord. A road leads up from the fjord, along by the river, to the Herad district, 26 km away across Fjardarheidi heath. Once a hazardous place to travel, the heath is now crossed in a mere half-hour by a high-quality road, commanding splendid views of the surrounding area. The route (Stafirnir) down into Seydisfjordur by the Fjardara river is one of Iceland’s most spectacular roads.
Distance from Reykjavik: 679 km / 422 mi

In the second episode of Circling Iceland we use our house in Nollur as a base to explore all the things to do in North Iceland starting with the Godafoss Waterfall. Luckily the weather was with us and we got lucky to see the Northern Lights right in front of our house - instead of sleeping we spent several hours in front of our house in total awe.
On our second day in the north we drove to Myvatn, Dettifoss and then all the way down to Bragdavellir where we moved into our next Apartment to explore sights in the east like the Hengifoss waterfall.
In the next episode we will show you the most popular sights in the south, including glaciers, waterfalls, impressive canyons but also some lesser known spots.
Traveling Icelands Ring Road is the perfect way to get to know the country on and off the tourist paths. Therefore we took about 2 weeks to get to know Iceland properly by exploring waterfalls, canyons, hot springs, glacier caves, black beaches and of course the stunning coastlines all around the island finishing off in Reykjavik with the countries biggest music festival called „Iceland Airwaves“
We’ll show you which places to visit & our favorite things to do in Iceland in the upcoming videos and how to plan & organize your very own road trip in Iceland. Make sure to subscribe & activate notification to not miss any episode!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY | ICELAND 2017
I think the main thing my channel reflects is the opportunities, I am so lucky to have, that allow me to be able to travel all around the world
I was incredibly fortunate to head to Iceland with school, along with my friends, but there is a huge part of me wishes that I had the courage to properly vlog it. it was such an amazing trip and I wish I could have not only documented the scenes but also the crazy adventures and commentary that went along with it!
nonetheless, I’m glad to have something pretty special to remember this trip by and although it has been five months since I was there, I wanted to make this video the best I could - whilst juggling gcses as well
I do just want to thank all the teachers and my friends who made the trip what it was. there is no way that I'd hesitate to go back whatsoever (even if the hotel wasn't the nicest!), it's a beautiful place and I have nothing but great memories from this, hopefully not, once-in-a-lifetime trip
so please do give this one all the love and PLEASE SHARE it, it all means so so much to me and I am extremely proud of this one and therefore I hope you love it as much as I do
