Speaking of sweets that represent Hokkaido, white lover is. It is also a staple among Hokkaido souvenirs. Known for its ability to visit Ishiya Confectionery, a manufacturer, White Lover Park is a popular tourist spot, including plant tours and cookies making experience with children. I also pay attention to sweets and souvenirs that can only be found here.
9th Banei Tokachi Obihiro Racecourse Obihiro City
A race that competes for speed and power while riding a sleigh is called a Bangei race, but it seems to be the only public competition in Japan. Here at Obihiro Racecourse, you can see how large farm horses compete in close proximity.
8th Shiretoko Five Lakes Shari-gun Shari-cho
Shiretoko, located in Shari-cho, Hokkaido, is a place where you can see unique ecosystems and magnificent nature that can not be seen anywhere else in Japan. It is also registered as a World Natural Heritage site, and the Shiretoko Five Lakes with the names from One Lake to Five Lakes reflect the sky and mountains on the water surface, and you can see a very beautiful sight. It is a very popular tourist spot that you want to visit by mast when you come to Hokkaido. However, be careful as you may encounter a brown bear.
7th Lake Akan Kushiro City
It is Akanko (Akanko) in Akan National Park in eastern Hokkaido. At Akan Lake, which boasts one of the largest sizes in Hokkaido, you can feel the magnificent nature of Hokkaido. In winter, the surface of the lake freezes and you can experience natural smelt fishing, etc. You can also have smelt fish that you have tempered.
6th Goryokaku Park Hakodate City

10 - Stuffed Animals
Stuffed toys and real animals are basically the same thing, right? At least that’s what our parents used to tell us when we were nagging them for a dog! Apparently, that’s what this lady thought too.
Airport security officials in Bangkok detected something suspicious in an oversize suitcase. The scan indicated that along with stuffed animals, this lady’s suitcase also somehow had bones somewhere.
´When they opened the suitcase for inspection, the team of investigators found something I guess no one expected. The BONES belonged to a tranquilized two-month-old tiger! A LIVE tiger cub was hidden in the suitcase along with some stuffed toys! I mean…...wouldn’t it have been smarter to pretend the tiger cub was an exotic cat with some fake papers?!
The suitcase, which had been checked by a 31-year old Thai woman, was en route to Iran, for who knows what. The tiger cub ended up under the protection of Thailand’s Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.
9 - The lizard menagerie
In 2010, a German man was arrested as he tried to hop on a flight from New Zealand when officials discovered a small, let’s just call it, “menagerie” of rare lizards hidden in his underwear. This is the PERFECT moment to use the word “menagerie” in real life!
Anyways, they found 44 lizards in this dudes underwear. Apparently, this guy admitted to being a dealer of endangered animals and pled guilty in court to charges of trading exploited species and hunting protected wildlife.
So how did this guy manage to have a “menagerie” of lizards? He had altered his underwear with eight hand-sewn compartments in order to carry geckos and skinks around. One last lizard, the luckiest of them all probably, depending on the way you look at things, was later found hidden in the man's suitcase. According to the prosecutor working on the case, each gecko has a street value of approximately $1,500 in Europe, while the value of the skinks was unknown.
8 - Just be a hill bro
Blending in with the environment is another way of… hiding. The Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Oregon contains uh…..lots of rocks and minerals. Oh, and a quote gold specimen bigger than your hand, which is what made the museum particularly interesting to Gregory Liascos.
Liascos' master plan was to gradually chip a hole through the wall of the museum to get to the gold inside. But, the museum's caretaker noticed an unusual amount of dust buildup over a period of several days. Following the dust trail to an elevator shaft behind the bathroom, the caretaker discovered a suspicious lack of a wall.
The caretaker alerted the police, and they set up surveillance equipment at the museum. When alarms went off the following day, the police stormed the museum, and found a bike, a backpack but no sign of anyone. But luckily, the police had brought along a tracking dog. The dog led its handler to a wooded area near the museum, where it suddenly started biting the ground.
Once the officers did a closer inspection, they found out that the dog wasn't biting the ground at all! It was Liascos disguised as a ummm…hill. Liascos told police he got into a fight with his girlfriend and wound up at the museum. He told investigators he wanted to try out his ghillie suit, which is a type of camouflage clothing designed to resemble the background environment. I’m still trying to understand the angry girlfriend angle.
Anyways, police didn’t believe his story, and Liascos is now known as the Moss man. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison after admitting to breaking into the museum.

1. Don’t Forget About the State Department

2. Don’t Expect Help From the Cops
The Jamaican police force is universally underpaid and understaffed. Their attention is mostly focused on more serious crime so a tourist’s stolen camera doesn’t rank high on their list of priorities.
3. Don’t Try to Get Around Without a Driver
In Jamaica, they drive on the wrong, -well, left side of the road. It can be a little perplexing, but for a small fee you can hire a driver for the day to help you get around efficiently and safely.
4. Don’t Backpack Through Jamaica
People who backpack through Jamaica essentially put a target on their back, attracting the worst of the island’s criminal element. Your best bet is to spend most of your time in highly populated areas.
5. Do Your Research
Where you spend your vacation will determine what there is to do. Love the nightlife? Then, Negril has tons of thriving hot spots. Taking your family for some fun in the sun? Montego Bay is full of family friendly resorts. Want to experience Jamaica’s inland paradise? Check out Ocho Rios.
6. Don’t Look at the Merchants
When you’re browsing at shops on the island avoid direct eye contact with the merchants. They will take it as a sign that you’re interested in buying but if you’re just looking, keep your eyes on the merchandise and not on the owner.
7. Don’t Use American Dollars
While good, old-fashioned greenbacks are welcome on the island, you should consider using the Jamaican dollar. You’ll find that you don’t have to worry about exchange rates and the locals will appreciate it.
8. Don’t Get Uptight
The entire country is filled with people who are looking on the bright side, and while they’re eager to please, they’re not in any big hurry. So, you shouldn’t be, either. No one wants to hang around with a grumpy tourist.
9. Don’t Be Afraid to Explore
There is one heck of a lot more to the island of Jamaica than just lounging on its world class beaches. There are a lot of great shopping spots and natural beauty like Dunn’s River Falls.
10. Don’t Worry About Finding a Good Beach
The best part about Jamaica is that no matter where you book your reservations Jamaica will have a pristine stretch of golden sand waiting for you. Don’t spend a ton of time trying to find “the right beach.” They’re pretty much all that beach.

As for transportation, it takes 4 hours to get from Tokyo station to Akita station via the Akita Komachi Bullet Train.
It costs around ¥17,000($160 USD) however if you have the JR pass you just have to pay the small fee of the reserved seat on the Shinkansen(all seats are reserved).
Or if you are going up to Hokkaido or coming back down from Hokkaido, you can change at the Shin-Aomori station and take the local JR train down to Odate station.
Going back to Tokyo from Shin-Aomori station is also possible by taking the Hayabusa bullet train. (Around ¥17,000)
Even though Akita is in Japan, each prefecture is so unique in it's own way - I learned so much from this trip and could see a different side of Japan.. I hope to share this kind of Japan more and more with you through my channel :)

Located between cat cafes, maid cafes and Carl's Jr. the gun cafe serves food and drinks along side a shooting range where you can shoot air guns. Check out how well I did!

# Gun Control In Other Countries
It seems like every day, there’s someone on the news or the internet that’s dead set on voicing their opinions about America’s guns. The second amendment in the Constitution has become a hot button issue over the last several years as the media focuses more and more on the spree of mass shootings that have become commonplace in our modern society.
Of course, that’s America; the rest of the world has tackled the gun issue in a different manner. And since it’s sometimes helpful to view our own countries through the lens of others’ experiences, here, for your consideration, are a few of the ways our international brethren have handled guns in their country.
1. Canada Is Close, But Stricter
Canada Is probably closest to America in terms of gun laws. You have to be 18, pass a background check, and take a public safety course. However, Canadians don’t tend to use their guns on each other like in the U.S. Canada’s firearm-related homicide rate is around seven times lower than America's.
2. Israel Gets by With Its Unique Culture
In Israel, military service is compulsory. So because pretty much everyone is a soldier, guns of all types are a daily reality in the country.
3. Japan Leans Strict Regulation
Japan is the country with the lowest instance of gun crime in the world. Only one in every ten million of its citizens are victims of gun crime. Some experts link this phenomenon to Japan’s incredibly strict gun laws.
4. Germany Has Seen Good Results From Psychiatric Tests
Germany has an incredibly high ownership of guns. However, the gun homicide rate in the country is one of the lowest in the entire world. It probably has something to do with the strict psychiatric tests for anyone under the age of 25 applying for a gun license.
5. How Afghanistan Operates in the Aftermath of War
About one in 25 people own a gun there, and except for a background check, it’s reasonably easy to own a private weapon and even carry it openly in the streets.
6. South Africa Takes a While
The process of getting a firearm in the country can take up to two years from the date of your first application and citizens are even required to submit to a home review.
7. The United Kingdom Offers Odd Statistics
Since the 80's, the U.K. has implemented increasingly stringent firearms laws. However, according to analysts, gun crimes in the UK didn’t actually peak until 2004, leading them to believe that in some cases, legislation doesn’t curb gun crime.
8. South Korea Wins Most Restrictive
Surprisingly South Korea has the most restrictive gun laws in the entire developed world. No one is allowed to keep a private firearm in their home. Even hunting weapons and air rifles are kept at local police stations!
9. Guns South of the Border
It’s very possible for men and women to own guns in Mexico, however the process is fairly rigorous. Anyone wanting a gun must petition the country’s Defence Ministry as its the only place from which these citizens can procure these weapons.
10. Australia, the Obligatory Slide
Australia once had a real problem with gun violence in their country. Then, the government all but prohibited automatic and semi-automatic rifles. As a result, they haven’t had a mass shooting since 1996.
