WILDCAMPING IN SCOTLAND (JUST)

ME AND MARK WERE LOOKING TO CAMP UP ON THE BORDER, WE HAD SEEN CALLAW CAIRN WAS A LIKELY SPOT ,SO OFF WE WENT, 3.5 MILES LATER WE DECIDED AFTER LOSING THE PATH A FEW TIMES TO SETTLE ON THE KIP.. IT WAS STARTING TO GET WINDY, DARK AND HEAVY WINDS FORECAST SO WE WENT LOW.. GOOD MOVE.. AS IT GOT WILD THROUGH THE NIGHT.. MORAL.. ALWAYS CHECK A RELIABLE SOURCE FOR WEATHER, WE KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE BLOWING A GALE, I RECKON IT WAS OVER 50MPH IN THE MORNING UP THE TOP. WE WOULD HAVE HAD A MISERABLE NIGHT IF WE WENT HIGH.. ENJOYED THE DETOURS AND THE HIKE IN AND OUT..
