The unincorporated village of Upper Black Eddy is located in northern Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 58 miles west south west of New York City and 45 miles north of Philadelphia. Upper Black Eddy is officially part of Bridgeton Township which also directly borders adjacent Borough of Milford, Hunterdon County, New Jersey via by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission's free Upper Black Eddy-Milford Bridge over the Delaware River.

Ringing rocks, also known as sonorous rocks or lithophonic rocks, are rocks that resonate like a bell when struck, such as the Musical Stones of Skiddaw in the English Lake District; the stones in Ringing Rocks Park, in Upper Black Eddy, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; the Ringing Rocks of Kiandra, New South Wales; and the Bell Rock Range of Western Australia. Ringing rocks are used in idiophonic musical instruments called lithophones.

6 Sept. 2013 - Launching Earth Shuttle Columbia - This is Day 4 of our 3 week trip in our new T@B Teardrop camper. It's Columbia's maiden voyage and we're heading up to New England.
Just north of Scranton, PA. about 10 minutes off Interstate 81, you'll find beautiful Lake Lackawanna State Park. As you can see, they're a friendly bunch and proud of their really nice facility. There's a 199 acre lake stocked with bass and trout and is idealic for kayaking as well. They have the largest swimming pool of any state park in PA. 16 miles of hiking and biking trails and Yerts & cabins mixed in with the camp sites. The sites only have electric hook-up only but there is a water station with a hose to fill your on-board tank as you enter the campground.
