At approximately one hundred and ninety seven thousand acres and divided into over seven hundred wine growing estates in the hill region between Florence and Siena, is a name famous all over the world for its wine: Chianti! The region’s first vines were planted by the Etruscans and in the early Middle Ages it was the monks of Vallombrosa who cleared the uninhabited hill slopes and cultivated the first vineyards. FAI - I GIGANTI DELLA SILA, Riserva Fallistro 2018: Calabria || Sony a6500 || Cinematic Videotest 4k
Una passeggiata sorprendente nella Riserva Naturale della Valle del Fallistro, tra oltre 60 alberi secolari alti fino a 45 metri, immersi nella natura e nel profumo del bosco ultracentenario (età media 350anni). Questi alberi rappresentano l'ultima testimonianza dell'antica e leggendaria Selva Bruzia situata in una delle areenaturali protette nel cuore del Parco Nazionale della Sila gestita da FAI (Fondo Ambientale Italiano) dal giugno 2016.
Più precisamente, i Giganti della Sila si trovano in località Croce di Magara, nel territorio di Spezzano della Sila (CS).
Camminare tra queste altezze è come sentirsi dei piccoli gnomi della foresta e entrare a far parte del mondo fantastico delle fiabe.
Uno scrigno che racchiude piccoli tesori: funghi di ogni genere e la positiva presenza dello scoiattolo nero (Zaccarella), tipico ed esclusivo delle montagne della Calabria esemplare raro ritenuto una specie a sé.
Qui, nell'altopiano della Sila si respira l'aria più pulita d'Europa, da cui deriva il nome di POLMONE DI EUROPA.
