    Olappamanna was a famous poet of Kerala, India. He was born on 10 January 1923 in Vellinezhi in Palakkad district into Olappamanna mana, a wealthy family with a feudal past known for its patronage of artists and musicians. After his college education, he was engaged in the timber and rubber business and was associated with Yogakshema Sabha and Purogamana Sahithya Samkhadana for some time.
