Van trip in Dhanushkodi Beach | Visiting Old Railway Station & Church | Full Trip Video
In this video, we see the remains of old Dhanushkodi Ghost town in Tamilnadu. We have to hire a jeep or van to see the various sites.

Fare for a trip in van was Rs.150 per person.
NOTE : Please don't get cheated by these van drivers. Better hire a jeep, if you can. The van driver did not take us to all the location in Danushkodi. They have worst attitude. If you are going by van or jeep make sure he takes you to all location. We did not see the Old Dhanushkodi port(location of the port : because he had fooled us, as we did not know about the place. My friends, who had gone before said that they had seen the port and they too had travelled by van. I don't know, if any other location was not shown by my van driver. So before going make sure you know all the location and inform the driver that he must show all the location or you won't pay him. If we have 4 wheel drive vehicle, then we can drive around Danushkodi beach on our own. The road till Dhanushkodi end was not open when we had gone.
Dhanushkodi is located on the tip of Pamban island separated by mainland by Palk strait. It shares the only land border between India and Sri Lanka, which is one of the smallest in the world at 45 metres (148 ft) in length on a shoal in Palk Strait.
