South Norway roadtrip in 7 days!
Hola a todos!
We figured out to make a roadtrip through south-Norway in 7 days + extra 2 days for arriving and going back home. There was really no stress driving about 2.000 km by car (+280 km ferry) in those 9 days.
Our trip to Norway started in Hamburg (Germany). At first, we went by car to Hirtshals (Denmark). From there we took the ferry to Kristiansand (Norway), because we wanted to bypass all the highway tolls and petrol costs and wanted to save the time that we would lose driving through Sweden.
Our mission was mainly to see the fjords in Bergen, but also to search for secret spots and to avoid the highways. The country roads were filled with wonderful landscapes. We took the following route: Kristiansand - Byglandsfjord - Rysstad - Haukeli - Eidfjord - Bergen.
After arriving in Bergen, we figured out that we didn't want to stay there for too long. We craved for more - especially for waterscapes and the ocean. So after 3 days of camping and sleeping in the car, we took a different route back: Bergen - Stavanger (by ferry, there was no other option) - Vikesa - Helleland - Egersund - Flekkefjord (the harbor town here was very cute) - Kristiansand.
We booked our ferry back to Denmark 1 day before we arrived there. So we had the chance to see what Kristiansand had to offer. We stayed at a camping place with its own 'beach' and harbour where we enjoyed bathing in around 17°C degrees.
All in all, the trip was pretty cheap (besides the ferry costs, but this saved us a lot of time and stress).
#1 highly recommended tip: In Norway the weather changes all the time. It can rain every second. Use quick-drying-clothes, because if you are camping like us, you won't stay at a camping place for too long. You just want to see more and grab your stuff quickly.
#2 Beware of the mosquitos!
#3 Pack enough food, because food in Norway is double the price than in Germany.
#4 Always have a second credit card with you.
Enjoy Norway!

Gloppedalsura vlog # 44
Gloppedalsura, Gjesdal, Norway
the biggest scree in North Europe
Description
Gloppedalsura consists of avalanche boulders that are piled on top of an end moraine.
10,000 years ago the ice sheet that covered the area, melted away. For a period of time the massive end moraine dammed the Hunnedal river's former course, towards Veen and Vikeså, and formed a lake in Byrkjedalsgryta. The terraces in Byrkjedal at 240 metres altitude are evidence of this moraine-dammed lake. The annual cycle of frost and expanding ice broke free a vast number of boulders and rocks and sent them tumbling down the southern mountainside. This debris settled as a 100-metre thick scree on top of the moraine.
Hunnedal river and the lake in Byrkjedalsgryta were forced to find a new outlet; the water burrowed a gully from Byrkjedal towards Gilja - Giljajuvet.

KOI SAMUI, THAILAND
JUNE 1ST - 7TH 2018
I am so excited to be hosting a fitness and well-being retreat in one of my favorite places on the planet. I have been to Koi Samui, Thailand twice and each time I leave with a better understanding of who I am and what I want my life to look like.
MY STORY AND WHY
My wide variety of life experiences (good and bad) to date have shaped who I have become and my ability to inspire and help others. I have been through traumatic times, found myself in the wrong situations, moved country for a better life, suffered with my thoughts and felt so low that all I wanted to do was run away. I was able to change my mindset, set myself free and live an extraordinary life that I am grateful for each day. For me this journey is bigger than myself, I went through what I did so I can be a guiding voice to others. If I can channel my energy into a positive one and make it happen, so can you. On this retreat I am going to share with you personally how I got to where I am today with the outcome to inspire you to be who you want to be and reach your full potential. It is my vow to you that after this experience your mindset will never be the same again.
