Human intervention has spread its distribution further, making the species one of the widest-ranging mammals in the world, as well as the most widely spread suiform. Its wide range, high numbers, and adaptability mean that it is classed as least concern by the IUCN and it has become an invasive species in part of its introduced range. 1. Pielinen Koli National Park
Pielinen is the fourth largest lake of Finland, with a drainage basin area of 12,823 km2 that is equally distributed between eastern Finland and Russia. The creation of the lake and its outlet is attributed to a post-glacial isostatic rebound, which resulted in uplift of the land. As is common in Finnish lakes, the water color of the lake is dark on account of the high proportion of bogs present in the catchment of the drainage basin that drains humic substances.Pielinen Lake is in the northernmost part of Karelia, which is the land of the Karelian peoples, a Northern European area of historical significance not only for Finland, but also for Russia and Sweden. BEST OF FINLAND 2017 (HD) WILD NATURE AND OUTDOOR

Experiencias invernales outdoor en Finlandia 2017.
Cosas que puedes hacer durante el invierno finlandés. Las experiencias que verás en este video incluyeron una visita a Kajaani para continuar luego hacia Kuhmo e iniciar una visita a la salvaje Taiga
Allí estuvimos en las instalaciones del Hotel Kalevala con algunas lecciones de cross country skí. En Suomunsaalmi fuimos introducidos al nuevo parque nacional Hossa y nos quedamos en Jatkinsalmi log cabin. La comida local fue deliciosa e hicimos snowshoeing y fat biking en la nieva para luego proseguir a caminar sobre el lago congelado.
Al regreso la visita al Hossa reindeer park sirvió para conocer de cerca a los renos de la región.
