    The Rotunda of St. Catherine , known as the Znojmo Rotunda , is a Romanesque rotunda located in Znojmo, Czech Republic. It is the town's most valuable monument, and features one of the oldest fresco compositions in the Czech lands. Besides the religious motives, of particular importance is the praising portrayal of the ruling Přemyslid dynasty. The building was originally a castle chapel, dedicated to Virgin Mary, built in the mid-11th century. The painting was commissioned by Konrad II of Znojmo on the occasion of his wedding with Mary , daughter of Uroš I of Serbia in 1134. Apart of the donor couple, Konrad and Mary, the identity of the other depicted members of the dynasty is disputed among the historians.     The Znojmo town hall tower is a Gothic tower situated in the city of Znojmo, a historic city in Moravia, Czech Republic. The tower was contracted by Znojmo counselors in 1445 and was built by a local stonemason Nicholas of Edelspitz in 1445–1448. The unique slim tower has a complex, elegant roof construction containing two galleries with characteristic Gothic spires. From the top of the galleries in the tower both the inside and outside of the city could be viewed, giving much needed warning of an advancing enemy.     Orli Znojmo is a Czech-based ice hockey team that currently plays in the Austrian Hockey League. The club is based in Znojmo and their home arena is Nevoga arena. From 1999 to 2009, the club competed in the Czech Extraliga. Their biggest success in that league was a third-place finish in 2005-06. National Hockey League players Patrik Eliáš, Martin Havlát and Tomáš Vokoun played for this club during the 2004–05 NHL lockout. On 1 April 2009, Orli sold its Czech Extraliga license to another South Moravian club, HC Kometa Brno. After two seasons under ownership of Rene Burger in the Czech First League, the club announced on 31 May 2011 that they were joining the Austrian-based Erste Bank Hockey League.
