Santa Barbara Cemetery at Night 11/9/13 Short Version
Travelling Taphophiles tour Santa Barbara Cemetery on 11/9/13, led by David Petry.
(This is the short version.)
Ghosts of Santa Barbara and Ventura County California
In this video I explore Santa Barbara Mission, where hundreds of Chumash Indians died during the revolt of 1824. They were disposed of on the property, but some legends state that their remains were used in the building material of the wall at the back of the mission. Are they at rest? We also look for vanishing hitchhikers and roadside ghosts on Rose Avenue and Ortega Road. There's apparently a hide and seek playing ghost at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard and a cemetery-turned-dog park in Ventura, now called the Cemetery Memorial Park.
Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, Los Angeles' Forest Lawn cemetery and the singer's hometown
HEADLINE: Where will Michael Jackson be buried?
---------------------------------------
CAPTION: The burial place of Michael Jackson is still unknown. Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, Los Angeles' Forest Lawn cemetery and the singer's hometown of Gary, Indiana are all being considered as possible final resting places . (July 8)
----------------------------------------
[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE]

(nat sound daughter sound from memorial)
IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE EMOTIONAL MEMORIAL TO MICHAEL JACKSON ENDED, THE SPECULATION BEGAN AS TO WHERE THE KING OF POP WOULD BE LAID TO REST. THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE BODY REMAINS A CLOSELY GUARDED SECRET. SOME SAY THE SINGER'S CHOICE FOR HIS FINAL RESTING PLACE WOULD BE NEVERLAND RANCH, WHICH COULD TURN IT INTO A GRACELAND-LIKE ATTRACTION. BUT THAT LOCATION INVOLVES PERMIT PROBLEMS WHICH COULD TAKE YEARS TO RESOLVE.
FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL PARK IN THE HOLLYWOOD HILLS IS ANOTHER LIKELY CHOICE, BUT FANS WOULD HAVE TO GET PERMISSION FROM THE FUNERAL COMPANY TO VISIT THE HIGHLY-SECURED CEMETERY. MEANWHILE, OFFICIALS IN JACKSON'S HOMETOWN OF GARY, INDIANA ARE REQUESTING THAT THE BODY BE BURIED THERE.
Haven Daley, The Associated Press, says: While the family has not yet revealed burial plans, fans here in Hollywood definitely have an opinion as to where they'd like to see the King of Pop laid to rest.
Norma Gupton, Arizona, says: Neverland because that's a place that he created and he was very happy there.
Zipporah O'Neal, Washington, DC, says: I think he should be buried home in Indiana because that's where most of his family's probably at.
Kendall Coyer, Los Angeles, says: Here in LA I think because that's where everyone is and where he performed alot.
Patricia Brenner, Miami, says: I heard a rumor that he wanted to be buried in London so we'll see how that pans out.
WHEREVER THE FAMILY DECIDES TO BURY JACKSON'S BODY, IT WILL LIKELY BECOME ONE THE MOST-VISITED GRAVESITES IN THE WORLD. HAVEN DALEY, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, LOS ANGELES.

Possessed Cabin in Santa Barbara?? STORYTIME
Hello Youtube!
I thought I would tell you guys about this kinda spooky story from when I was in high school.
Obviously you guys can believe what you'd like about ghosts and the paranormal, I'm not here to definitively say what's true and what's not, this is just a story of something that happened to me.
Santa Barbara Helicopter Tour
Santa Barbara Helicopter Tour
The 'Adventurer' flight departs from the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) in Goleta, California. The air journey begins at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). It turns up the Pacific coast at the Campus Point towards Isla Vista, a student community. It follows along the coast over the Ellwood offshore oil field, Sandpiper golf course and Bacara Spa Resort. Flying outside the developed city boundaries reveals vistas of many cultivated agriculture ranches and orchards along the 101 (1) Pacific Coastal Highway.
At the Refugio State beach the tour turns North, away from the coast and into the continental mountain ranges. Breathtaking rock formations of twists and folds lead to Ronald Reagan's Rancho Del Cielo that is located towards the top of the range. Getting over the ridge reveals colorful and beautiful Solvang and Santa Ynez Valley.
From here the path bends to the east towards Lake Cachuma, a wilderness area in the San Rafael mountains. For about 10 next minutes the ride is pure mountain views of the wild back country - the Los Padres National Forest. With Gibraltar reservoir in sight the tour crosses the Camino Cielo Road into the foothills of Montecito and continues over many beautiful estates and golf courses. On a clear day, nearby cities of Ventura and Oxnard can be seen down the coast, which we happen to miss due to the ocean mist.
By now we are in Summerland, an area where the world's first offshore oil well was drilled into the ocean floor. From here the path turns up the coast passing by the Coral Casino, the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel, Montecito Country Club, Bird Refuge Lake and Cemetery. The flight continues parallel to the Cabrillo Boulevard, home to the east beach volleyball courts, the Fess Parker Hilton Resort, Wharf Pier, the Boat Harbor and the Yacht Club, City College, Leadbetter beach and Mesa Shoreline park. In the distant right are the downtown Santa Barbara, the Mission and the coastal American Riviera.
At the Arroyo Burro Beach, also called Hendry's by the locals, we fly next to the Hope Ranch estates, turning North at Cliff Drive and Las Positas Road, flying towards Earl Warren Showgrounds and the Santa Barbara Municipal Golf Course.
From here we are on the final stretch headed for the airport over the Highway 101, where La Cumbre Plaza, Laguna Blanca lake and San Marcos High are seen.
Many many thanks to captain Taylor Nancarrow for an awesome 45-minute aerial Santa Barbara area tour on a brand new Robinson R44 Raven I chopper. Absolutely loved it, loved it, loved it!

The court in the heart of Santa Barbara. The building was built in 1929 but is still used in many courts is a popular wedding venue. This brings out a sophisticated form of Spanish-style tiles, metalwork and Moorish style building that is a must-visit place with the mission. This is often popular with people who do not have access limitations even no admission fee. The appearance of the court on the first floor. Exhibition space now, but in 1542 Spanish explorer Cabrillo is a large decorative murals depicting the time we found this place symbolically California. How close the curtains and chairs Girard 100 years using one feels in the depths of time. In order to view Santa Barbara views must climb to the observatory court. Written perforated everywhere where the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Inez Mountains and the beautiful town comes into the eye. City of Santa Barbara consisting of a white brick building with red tile roofs laid according to the mission of the urban construction policy has been a big help to attract people today. Attraction will still be called the function of the court, and with all your favorite people, it was like having the charm and openness Santa Barbara.
