Unternehmen Ostwall (3) : Von Werkgruppe Lützow zum Nordpol
„Die Festungsfront Oder-Warthe-Bogen, auch Festung im Oder-Warthe-Bogen, volkstümlich Ostwall genannt, war eine seit Mitte 1934 vom Deutschen Reich aufgebaute, stark befestigte Verteidigungslinie, die etwa 120 km östlich von Berlin vom Fluss Warthe im Norden zur Oder im Süden führt.“ (Wikipedia)
Unzählige Informationen findet man im Internet über diesen Ort, es gibt Bücher, Pläne, Diskussionen in Foren... Ist schon jedes Geheimnis des „Ostwalls“ gelüftet?
Man kann sich dem Oder- Warthe- Bogen auf viele Weisen nähern: Touristische Führungen mit engagierten Hobbyhistorikern... sich abseilen... hineinkriechen... stundenlang in Gummistiefeln herumstapfen... Geocaches suchen... mit 10 Urbex- Buddys durch die Gänge toben... Es ist genug Abenteuer für alle da.
Wir näherten uns dem Oder- Warthe- Bogen das erste Mal im Winter diesen Jahres. Mit Werkgruppe Lützow wollten wir beginnen. Wir fanden alles Mögliche... aber Werkgruppe Lützow zeigte sich nicht. Im Frühjahr dann der zweite Versuch. Trotz Plänen, GPS, Adleraugen: Werkgruppe Lützow blieb verschwunden.
Na dann eben von unten! Und selbst hier lockte der ein oder andere Tunnel in die Irre, bis Werkgruppe Lützow endlich gefunden wurde...

Zur Werkgruppe Lützow gehören die Panzerwerke 730, 732, 733, 736 und 739. Im Pz.W. 732 findet man noch Originalbeschriftungen an den Räumen der unterirdischen Kasernenanlagen. Im Pz.W. 730 kann man die Reste des Fahrstuhls entdecken.

Built in 1934–44, it was the most technologically advanced fortification system of Nazi Germany, and remains one of the largest and the most interesting systems of this type in the world today. Countless information can be found on the Internet about this place, there are books, plans, discussions in forums ... Has every secret of the East Wall been revealed?
You can approach the Oder-Warthe-Bogen in many ways: Tourist guides with dedicated amateur historians ... abseiling ... crawling in ... spending hours in rubber boots ... looking for geocaches ... with 10 “Urbex buddies” storm through the tunnels... There is enough adventure for everyone.
We approached the Oder-Warthe-Bogen for the first time in the winter of this year. First we wanted to visit “Werkgruppe Lützow”. We found a lot of interesting things... but we did'nt find “Werkgruppe Lützow”. In the spring then the second attempt. Despite plans, GPS, eagle eyes: “Werkgruppe Lützow” remained missing.
Well... then from the bottom! And even here one or two tunnels lured me away until “Werkgruppe Lützow” was finally found ...

“Werkgruppe Lützow” includes the bunkers (“Panzerwerke”, “Pz.W.”) 730, 732, 733, 736 and 739. In Pz.W. 732 you can still find original inscriptions on the rooms of the underground barracks. In Pz.W. 730 you can discover the remains of the elevator.
