Visit Poland - tourist attractions - Silesia Province
Tourist advert of the Silesian Voivodship (also Silesia Province, Wojewodztwo Slaskie) located in Southern Poland. This military hospital was built in 1929 by the Germans. It was overtaken by the Soviets after World War 2. It as then abandoned in 1993. The hospital is located in Southwestern Poland in a town call Legnica (Pronounced Liegnitz). This part of Poland is called Lower Silesia. It is an easy drive from Krakow, Wroclaw, and Warsaw.
Poland is a beautiful county that we highly recommend for not just urban exploring abandoned places but also for a more conventional European vacation.

Park Miejski w Legnicy – najstarszy i największy legnicki park miejski, położony w centralnej części miasta, w obrębach geodezyjnych Stare Miasto i Ochota, liczący 58 ha powierzchni. Granicę parku wyznaczają (oglądając mapę zgodnie z ruchem wskazówek zegara): pl. Wilsona, al. Orła Białego, ul. Zielona, ul. Jordana, al. Hetmańska, al. Zygmunta Krasińskiego, rzeka Kaczawa, rzeka Młynówka, ul. Stroma, ul. Mickiewicza, koryto zasypanej części Młynówki, ul. Powstańców Śląskich i ul. Witelona.
W centralnej części parku umiejscowiony jest Stadion Miejski im. Orła Białego, na który swoje mecze rozgrywa drużyna piłkarska MKS Miedź Legnica.
