Our FAVORITE beach town in Mexico that you've NEVER heard of
Located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, Puerto Morelos QUICKLY became our favorite beach town in Mexico!

Puerto Morelos is in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, located halfway between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. On the shores of the Caribbean Sea, the waters and beach of Puerto Morelos are some of the prettiest we’ve seen!
This quaint little beach town is kicking off our 2019 Mexico travel vlog and we can’t wait to explore this town and surrounding area even more! The town itself is pretty small, one of the smallest beach towns we’ve been to throughout our Mexico travels. But there is a huge coral reef right off shore, quite a few great restaurants to try, and some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Yucatan Peninsula. Needless to say, I think we’ll stay plenty busy here.
If that isn’t enough, with the town’s close proximity to Cancun and Playa Del Carmen and other amazing destinations in the Riviera Maya, there’s no shortage of things to do within a reasonable driving distance.
One thing that has plagued Mexico’s Caribbean beaches over the course of the past year is the sargazo (seaweed). Typically, this is only something that these Mexico beach towns only have to deal with about 1 month a year, but lately it’s been different. In our opinion, the sargazo in Puerto Morelos hasn’t been too bad since we’ve been here. It can pile up on the beaches but the water has been pretty clear with its natural, gorgeous, hues of blue and green.
In today’s video, we ate breakfast at a local restaurant and later had some Veracruz-influenced seafood at another. We also took a short trip to Cancun to purchase some things that we’ve been needing from Costco, which was a super painless drive straight up the highway.

LABORAL, THE CITY OF CULTURE IN GIJON - ASTURIAS (ESPAÑA - SPAIN)
Built between 1946 and 1956, the Laboral building has taking on many guises throughout its lifetime. Originally built as an orphanage to care for children who had lost their parents in mining accidents, Laboral was renovated and re-opened in 2007 and still operates as an Institute of education but is also home to a local television station, a school of dramatic arts, a stunning theater, an arts and industrial creativity center as well as many offices dedicated to research and development and tourism.
Back in its inception, architect Luis Moya Blanco and his team set about designing a building that would herald in a new Spain and be a symbol of recovery from the dark times of civil war. Laborals construction was controversial as it was seen as a pet project of the then dictator General Franco, built with ulterior motives and reviled by some but the project remained true to its design and for many decades facilitated education for the children of Asturias.
The main complex is made up of a large gated entrance, a courtyard, a church with one of the largest elliptical domes in the world, the tallest stone clock tower in Spain, a theater and many workshop areas. In its surrounds there are many other places of interest including the botanical gardens and a center of arts and industrial creativity. The building itself is considered to be the largest stone construction building ever made in Spain.
Laboral is a unique structure that creates a sense of awe when first visited. The classical industrial architecture holds many wonders and secrets in its walls and time will pass unnoticed as visitors walk through the corridors of this magnificent building.
There is a well priced café on site with a garden terrace open throughout the summer and offers a great place to rest a while and take in Laborals grandeur.
To access the church and tower as well as the hall of murals, visitors should organize a guided tour at the reception in order to get the most out of their visit to LABORAL -- THE CITY OF CULTURE.
We would like to offer a huge thanks to architect Jorge Alonso for agreeing to present the video and imparting to us his knowledge and passion of Laboral.
We would also like to thank the good people of RECREA for allowing us to film and offering help when needed.
If you would like more information about Laboral then don't hesitate to get in touch

Santa Lucía de Tirajana - Gran Canaria
Santa Lucia de Tirajana is a municipality located in the southeast of the island of Gran Canaria. One of Santa Lucia de Tirajana's remarks are the great amount of palm trees there are in its palm valley.
As it could not be any other way in Gran Canaria, Santa Lucia de Tirajana also has its own church that was built in 1898. I say so because there are usually churches in each town of Gran Canaria.
A very interesting place to visit is Fortaleza Grande and its museum. It is interesting because that was the last standing fortress where aboriginal people who did not want to convert to christianism fought against the Spanish empire. Since they were defeated and forced to christianism most of them suicided at Fortaleza Grande.
As for archaeological places to see, Santa Lucia de Tirajana has some of them. At Fortaleza de Ansite you can see how natives used to bury their people. The constructions are still there and you can see the diggins and stone shapes of their tombs.
Gran Canaria also has one of the top windsurfing spots of the world which is in Santa Lucia de Tirajana which is the beach Pozo Izquierdo. There are waves and wind all over the year and it is a great beach to practice and learn sports related with wind and waves, not just for windsurf but also kitesurf for instance.

Places to see in ( Castile La Mancha - Spain ) Alarcon
Places to see in ( Castile La Mancha - Spain ) Alarcon
Alarcón is a municipality in the province of Cuenca, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Located 87 kilometers (54 miles) south of the city of Cuenca, Alarcón spans an area of 120 km² (50 sq mi) at an elevation of 831 meters (2,726 feet).
Alarcon is situated on a promontory within a closed bend of the Júcar River. Not far downstream from the Alarcón Dam, an important reservoir, the town also has the smaller Dam of Henchidero at its doorstep.
Of Iberian and Roman origins, Alarcón first appears in recorded history at its occupation by the Arabs, to whom it owes the construction of the primitive castle on which the existing one is based. The history of Alarcón is governed by its role as a stronghold; however, the castle is not the town’s only precious heritage: it also claims a rich architectural variety, both religious (the Churches of Santo Domingo de Silos, San Juan Bautista, the Santa Trinidad, and Santa María del Campo, as well as the Hermitage of Santa María de la Orden), and civil (the town hall, the House of Villena, and the Castañeda Palace).
The town of Alarcón was declared the site of a Historic-Artistic Grouping (Conjunto Histórico-Artistico) on July 3, 1981. In 1994, artist Jesús Mateo began a project to paint the interior of the old Church of San Juan Bautista, creating the Mural Paintings of Alarcón (1994-2002), which were recognized by UNESCO in 1997 for their global artistic interest.
( Castile La Mancha - Spain ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting Castile La Mancha . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Castile La Mancha - Spain

Gran Canaria is located at the height of the 28th parallel, just 97 km from the African coast, which enjoys temperatures of spring all year. Gran Canaria we not called Mini continent without reason. The island combines the smallest space the most varied types of landscape. Apart from interesting mountain villages such as Tejeda, Artenara or Aguimes, cities like Las Palmas and Telde, which are offering all sorts of attractions, the natural beauty of Gran Canaria, the highlight of which you should definitely visit during a trip.
In the south of Gran Canaria is the nature reserve of the Dunes of Maspalomas. They consist of more than four hundred hectares of golden sand, which represents a unique landscape. Here extends the beach of Maspalomas, one of the longest and best-known of the island. From Landscape Park Roque Nublo overlooks almost all natural landscapes of Gran Canaria. From the summit to open our eyes fantastic mountain slopes that are covered by Canarian pine trees and steep valleys of extraordinary beauty, all in the basin of Tejeda.
In Agüimes and Ingenio, in the south-east of Gran Canaria is located Guayadeque. In this deep canyon are the former cave settlement of Cueva Bermeja and also 3 cozy restaurants, which are real cave restaurants. In addition, a mandatory visit should be the Centro de Interpretation del Barranco (Institute for the interpretation of the gorge), the visitors explained everything about the pre-Hispanic history and also about the flora and fauna of the canyon.
Fataga gorge is located in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in the south of Gran Canaria. Their great geological value makes them a natural reserve, since some of the best-preserved natural resources of the island, such as can be found a palm oasis. In the basin of the Tirajana Ravine is an area with great landscape value. The reservoir and the palm trees in La Sorrueda offer the stroller one of the finest Palm accumulations on Gran Canaria with imposing mountains and cliffs.
The visit to the Jardin Botanico Viera y Clavijo in the ravine of Guiniguada is a nice outing, which brings us closer to the typical flora of the Canary Islands and the Macaronesia. Pines, palms and Dragos (dragon tree, the symbol of Gran Canaria) mingle with the last vestiges of laurel forest in a unique environment.
Gran Canaria enjoys the privilege to host the oldest golf clubs from Spain. It is located next to the crater of an extinct volcano, Bandama. It is a real luxury here in the Golf Club of Las Palmas to treat yourself to a game and also to look at a lot of beautiful and deep gorges. The irregular orography of La Vega de San Mateo has meant that this area represents one of the most beautiful areas of the island because of its dense foliage and the fertile meadows, which open on the sides of canyons.
To the north of Gran Canaria is one the most beautiful places on the island, the valley of Agaete hidden. Here, visitors can discover a wide variety of exotic herbs and coffee growing areas. In his altitudes extending the Parque Natural de Tamadaba (nature park of Tamadaba) with the major pine forests of Gran Canaria. Inside of Gran Canaria Valsequillo hidden where the visitor landscapes with exceptional beauty to the Barranco de los Cernícalos. Weeping willows, olive trees and almond trees are some of the plant species that can be found everywhere in this angle.
Gran Canaria has an amazing variety of landscapes in a small space on rugged rock formations in the interior, a fertile coastal landscape in the north, gentle dunes in the south and a bizarre rocky coastline of western. Before about 20 million years ago the island was created as a result of volcanic activity. Today Gran Canaria coast stretches across about 1530km², in diameter Gran Canaria extends for about 50km.
Bizarrely shaped rocks and the harder core of old volcanic vents as the Roque Bentaiga or the Fortaleza Grande today form the beautiful scenery in the interior of Gran Canaria. Various forms of vegetation exist in this varied landscape, side by side. To characterize the erstwhile imposing volcanic crater, the Caldera, with its steep slopes, the face of the island.
