I shot this video during my holidays in Gran Canaria Island (Canary Islands, Spain). In 7 days I traveled with my partner Alessia (@peronealessia on Instagram) searching the most beautiful destinations and landscapes on the island. She, as an active Google local guide, created awesome itineraries every day through places, monuments, attractions and restaurants to visit.
Here are some of the places we've seen: Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, Maspalomas, Playa De Las Canteras, Algujero, Telde, Mogán, Roque Prieto, El Bufadero, Arucas, Santa Lucia De Tirajana, Firgas, Paseo De Gran Canaria, Anfi Del Mar, Piscinas Naturales, San Juan Bautista, Carabela Niña III.

Gran Canaria to Tenerife and Fuerteventura, the third largest of the Canary Islands. The nearly circular. The capital is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Gran Canaria is located in the area of influence of the trade winds, the zoom press for the northern hemisphere of the Northeast. They are forced to the island's mountains to rise and take care of their northern slopes for some heavy rainfall, mostly in the form of fog. The island is so climatically divided into two roughly in the wetter north and the drier south. Correspondingly, different vegetation zones have formed. In the north of nature prevail laurel forests, struck during the southern semi-desert vegetation. There dominate the drought adapted spurge. The famous Canary Spurge is due to their cactus-like appearance. Spreads are also high shrub, woody and dickblättrige Echium species. Imports from America prickly pears have spread there as well. The laurel forests are formed by Canary laurel (Laurus novocanariensis) and heather. Here comes the Canary Bellflower, the characteristic species of the Canary Islands, off naturally.

Agaete - Gran Canaria [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
Agaete is located on the northwest of the island of Gran Canaria, and 33 km away from Las Palmas, its capital city.
Agaete is famous around the island for several reasons.
One of them is their well known once a year festivity called La Rama de Agaete. People from all over the island attend the event to dance and sing to the rhythm of the local band called La Banda de Agaete.
In Agaete you can also find an important port called Puerto de Las Nieves which has daily ships that connect the neighbour island of Tenerife to Agaete in Gran Canaria. It's also known because of the fish industry. In fact, some people say that you can find some of the best fresh fish of the island in the local restaurants.
God's finger or El Dedo de Dios is also in Agaete, right in front of the port by the reef. It's a naturally formed stone that had the shape of a finger. However a few years ago the finger fell off due to some weather conditions and it can't be seen anymore tho the spirit is still there.
Agaete also has a much developed agrarian sector and a great food production system. You can visit banana plantations and other kinds all around Agaete in Gran Canaria.
Another nice festival is called Bio Agaete in which there is music, markets and ecological food for the whole weekend and it is been getting famous in the recent years.
If you come to Gran Canaria you should definitely visit Agaete.
