Nazeing is a village and parish in Essex, England. Within the parish are the separate settlements of Upper Nazeing, Middle Nazeing, and Lower Nazeing. The Prime Meridian passes to the west of Lower Nazeing.

Blenheim & Woodstock was a railway station constructed in the neoclassical style which served the town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace in the English county of Oxfordshire. The station, as well as the line, was constructed by the Duke of Marlborough and was privately run until 1897 when it became part of the Great Western Railway. The number of trains serving the station was cut in the late 1930s, and again in 1952 down to only six trains a day. The last train ran on 27 February 1954 adorned with a wreath. Thorpe Park is a theme park located between the towns of Chertsey and Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey. It is operated and owned by Merlin Entertainments. After demolition of the Thorpe Park Estate in the 1930s, the site became a gravel pit. Thorpe Park Resort was built in the 1970s on the gravel pit which was partially flooded, creating a water-based theme for the park. Lee Valley Park bushcraft: fire from a battery

Lee Valley Park rangers bushcraft training at the Almost Wild Campsite beside the River Lee (Lea) The Lee Valley site is situated on the Essex Hertfordshire border, at Nazeing New Road, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, EN10 6TD.

Lee Valley park ranger Craig Fordham demonstrates here how easy it is to create fire from batteries inside everyday items a people carry with them.

Bushcraft courses are provided by Craig and other rangers for campers who stop overnight on the Almost Wild campsite.

Lee Valley 'almost wild' campsite opens beside River Lee

Lee Valley's newest campsite has been opened by senior park ranger Gareth Winn, with the help of more than 100 volunteers.

Called the Almost Wild Campsite, it sits on a small island that borders of Hertfordshire and Essex.

The site is surrounded trees and water on three sides. Campers can hang hammocks, sleep in bivvies or tents and make use of open fires set into each pitch.

The Lee Valley site is situated on the Essex Hertfordshire border, at Nazeing New Road, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, EN10 6TD.
