City Walks: Wexford, Ireland walking tour
After a lunch at the pub, we walk through the downtown area of the city of Wexford, Ireland in County Wexford. We start out in the pedestrian zone near Centenary Stores pub and make our way along the main street, past fishing boats moored at the waterfront, past the train station, and up to the ruins of an old abbey. We are loving Ireland and haven't even been to Dublin yet. The country is incredibly friendly and beautiful. The rural rolling pastoral hills are stunning in early September.

Pembroke Dock to Rosslare in 2 minutes
The Pembroke Dock to Rosslare ferry runs twice a day and takes about 3.5 hours. It's a very comfortable trip despite the reputation the Irish Sea has for foul weather. On the day I travelled it was pretty wild, but I felt fine in the Club Class lounge at deck 11, right on the top of the ferry. With Club Class you also get the speedy boarding and disembarkation, which I have to say is worth every penny, especially if you have a long way to travel. My trip from Galway to Rosslare took 5 hours, so I was more than happy to get myself settled on board.
